A great bounce back day today....good job. As we dig in to these games, you can start to see the teams who are not strong 2H teams and teams that are....for instance, Duke.....they can't cover a 2H period. Also...we learned a little about Pitt tonight (win games closer than line dictates) and Kansas (strong 1H) team.

Quick question. How long have you been capping teams? It is November 23rd and after seeing a team play two games, you can't claim a team to be a good or bad 2nd half team. Maybe the teams they played are just good or bad 2nd half teams? Once again, not being a dick, but just trying to have a discussion. There is always something to learn

No problem with the question...obviously, it is very early in the season so there isn't much volume that i can draw a model from. In tracking a few teams like the ones i have mentioned, i am seeing "trends" pertaining to half plays. Throw in Towson as well as they are another terrible 1h team.

Funny, I had a tradition of betting the late game of the Great Alaska Shootout w my nephew (ah yes, bonding over degenerate gambling), but that's not on anymore. Yeah that Cal game was super lopsided. I threw a unit on Mizzou just for fun on a gut feeling, didn't post it because it was last second and wasn't based on any research so I didn't want people blindly tailing. Lol, I watched the first half and then went to bed pretty smug and happy.
