Will Wichita St stay a strong contender with the addition of ESPNU 100 recruit Fred Van Fleet the #1 player in the State of Illinois for the 2012 class.... I grew up in Illinois and I'm confused as hell as how he is the #1 player considering he is from Rockford....But then again I'm looking at the 2012 Illinois prospects and they are being overshadowed by the 2013 class immensely which is loaded.

The Atlantic 10 has now turned into what I will call a Power Conference in College Basketball. They will be losing Temple after this year but that is no real big deal actually. I feel like Temple is losing out on this actually. The addition of Butler and Virginia Commonwealth has altered the outlook on this league. Look at it this way Virginia Commonwealth is already in the works of signing games with Old Dominion and George Mason still, will be playing Richmond finally and are in what might be the new preseason tourney to be in the Battle 4 Atlantis. This field is loaded as **** and is apparently trying to steal the spot light from the Maui Invite.

The Butler Bull Dogs will be playing in the Crossroads Classic a great Series that the state of Indiana has started and a wonderful tradition that I hope stays intact. The Bulldogs will be playing a loaded Indiana team but the Bull dogs will be welcoming Rotnei Clark a one time ESPNU 100 Recruit who transferred out of Arkansas because he wanted a chance at a National Title and knew it wasn't coming at Arkansas. He stated he wanted to play on a winning program and play in the NCAA tourney for a shot at a Title. This Butler team will be a brand new Butler team now with really only Andrew Smith being from the remnants of the Final 4 Squads. Stevens and the rest of the Butler community is going to be excited to be adding ESPNU 100 Recruit Kellen Dunham who has pledged to the Bulldogs for a very very long time.
Lets not forget about Dayton in all of this mess either, I bring up Dayton because Like Smart and Stevens, Archie Miller is still brand new to this Flyer program and wants to prove he can play with the big boys also. He has a pretty solid recruiting class coming in this year also. He recruited Northland High School properly like he should of because basketball fans would know that is the place to recruit talent if you are in Ohio.

Would like to get some odds on Jabari Parker signing at Depaul though I would take a chance at that one actually. Fighting Illini release the 2012-2013 Out of Conference Schedule . Its optimally weak but still looks pretty good on the Power Rankings because Gonzaga, Norfolk St, and Missouri were in the tourney last year. The Maui Invite is a tourney they need to win though

Jabari Bird was actually given an offer from Arizona. If he decides to sign with Arizona I would suspect this be a late signing actually because Zonas class this year is loaded and he might want to see what they are all thinking. I can totally see Bird playing at Washington. He is from Northern California and has California as one of his top choices but I just dont see it happening. The Cal Bears just dont recruit the talent from Northern California.Comment -

Getting an inner city kid from Chicago was something that Weber couldnt do. Groce landed a kid from SIMEON the best high school program in the state of Illinois and if not the best High School program in the COUNTRY. Well Notre Dame got a monster ESPNU 100 Recruit today in Demetrius Jackson it came down to the Fighting Illini and Fighting Irish. Jackson is a program changer. He is not a one and done player either he will grow and mature. He has no intentions of leaving before his Junior year. If he decides to declare for the NBA it will be his Senior year that he skips. He will be a great player and Notre Dame is loading up..
Also in the recruiting world Memphis is loading the penetrate up again for what could be another magical group of basketball players. Paster is a top notch coach at recruiting Elite Talent to Memphis and will help the Big East's cause out a lot with him and his obnoxious recruiting. Im starting to suspect though that the Big East could turn into the new Conference USA replica...... I expect to see Kuran Iverson become a True Freshman and help guide the Memphis Squad.
Rhode Island is at it right now with the Hurley brothers recruiting hard. Lets see how the Rams do and fair in the A-10 this year and then in 2013 when they bring in their Star ESPNU 100 Recruit E.C. Matthews who was a highly underrated but highly touted prospect coming into the rankings this year if that makes any sense to you. Lets give the 2013 class at Rhode Island a chance to shine before we shut the doors on the the Rams.
Mark Gottfried is at it again! Good god! This was the best decision North Carolina St. ever made it looks like he already has signed 2 ESPNU 100 recruits for the 2013 season one of them being a 5 STAR Anthony Barber. Wow im really lagging this year on doing my CBB research. Been so focused on the MLB Post Season with my San Francisco Giants and with school and work I might have to be lazy and go and buy the Blue Ribbon Preview to catch up on the Rosters. I cant even tell you who the starting five for Gonzaga is right now let alone the starting 5 for Indiana. Blah im lagging. Might be a bit of a slow start for me this year even though im normally a beast in the beginning of the CBB season. I feel like Im to prepared for the 2013 season more then the 2012 season. Im still really focused on UNLV and Virginia Commonwealth though. I can peg those 2 programs pretty well as of right now. Still interested in Butler but not entirely sure should be a quality year for them. Ive got a couple sleeper teams im really interested in also. But im not ready to reveal them yet still sorting out some data. I really need to rework my projections this being my 3rd year running my numbers by myself. As many of you no I do factor LUCK into my equation and think it is highly acceptable in CBB. I might start trying to work PURE LUCK into this equation though as there are plenty of situations where I could factor these situations in more so 3 for 1 specials of 4 for 1 specials that some how knock stupid unbelievable situations. Ill be increasing Twitter research also more this year I started exploring Twitter Research last year and it worked out extremely well. I wasnt much of a Twitter person last year and im still not really much a of a Twitter person I just follow all of the basketball coaches and players.Comment -
