i know there are a couple of guys in this thread who make money on the ufc,,, i was just looking at the book and see nate diaz is +205 vs cerrone..... with those odds is it worth it to put some green on nate? i think he beats cerrone here!

What up Sonny, BUCK, Upscope! VEGAS SHARPS have been pounding the LA TECH line it seems from +11 all the way down to +9. I bought 1.5 points and grabbed +11 LA Tech tonite...if that TCU line drops below 7 i'll prolly grab some TCU as well.

how do you know it's "sharps" and not the heavy public betting it down??

Dug what up I got the word from my connex, on top of that 30% is on LA Tech. Somebody or some people within that 30% had the power to drive down the line from +11/-11 to +9/-9. This morning only 10% was on LA Tech and the line was at +9/-9. I think TCU wins but LA keeps it close, like i said if I can get the TCU line at or under 7 before tip-off i'll prolly grab that line as well.

UPDATE: line is +10/-10 right now, assuming more wagers coming in on TCU since it's game-day, will be looking at this line throughout the day.

the line was 9 or 9.5 yesterday also tho...man tracking all this linemovement stuff is crazy. i wonder where everyone gets their numbers from because between online, offshore, vegas...everyone seems to have different numbers. i go by vegas and the sportsbook casinos when me or a friend walks in personally and looks at the board.

the thing is with this 30% on LA tech..you can't differentiate what the breakdown of that 30% is thats been betting on the line from 11 to 9 over the past 2 weeks...you see a general number...who knows if 50% of it was 2 weeks ago at 11, then 25% was a week ago when it was 10 and 25% was this week when it was under 10...

for the monday night game there were 3 MAX bets by "sharps" on PIT +3 the morning of the game. one for 30k, and two for 15k ...obviously they couldn't have been more wrong...

just goes to show that we're all just guessing here and saying sharps or public or whoever is betting XX% it's just a crapshoot

ALSO an FYI...the wynn, mirage and hilton are all 9.5 ...caesars is 10 . this is first hand knowledge

I would trust Pinny before any Vegas book. hilton is only vegas book I would even consider trusting when trying to figure out line movement.
