root for VCU. i grew up there and my folks both went there, let me tell you, this is a way cooler story than George Mason. i have family that went to Kansas and Butler, so i can be happy if they do well. i don't like Calipari, so have to root against UK. UNC was my team as a kid but not anymore. bottomline: with the Big Ten out of of it, my heart will be out of it as soon as VCU is out. normally, we at least have Izzo....

VCU showed me alot last night. You have to wonder where that was all year, although I never thought much of FL St, but they were great against ND. (wow I'm starting to realize how very confused I am about this whole tournament). One game a team shoots lights out - the next it's over. Maybe it's a good thing it's almost over - but I will miss BB. My confused mind tells me that Florida ends it for Butler today and although I lean Uconn - can Zona play again how they did against Duke?

someone the other day said something really insightful. he posted all of his plays so far in the tournament, he's killing it. then he said that his secret was capping the games as he had during the regular season, then playing the opposite. this tournament has been a total mind fk. i'm pissed that i haven't done well, but i think that the message is that you have to cap the games completely differently, which isn't easy to do. something to work on the in the offseason. i'll miss hoops to, only 7 games left.

for today, i have Butler, 72-70, and UConn, 82-75. i guess that means i should be backing Florida and Arizona based upon the above logic, i dunno. i played the Arizona/UConn over 145 4*, so as to remove that issue from the equation. it's Butler and UConn or no-play for me ATS. lean Butler over too.
