I want everyone in this thread to look up how many FT's each team avg a game. I need help.

North Texas is #1 in FTA/FGA on kenpom. as for actual per game averages, NT shoots 28 per game (against teams that normally allow 24 per game) and its opponents shoot 21 per game (teams that average 21 per game normally), while WKY shoots 22 per game (against opponents that normally allow 22) and its opponents shoot 18 per game (in contrast to the 22 per game that those opponents normally shoot).

North Texas averages 24, w/ a 75% avg

WKU averages 20, w/ a 64.5%



In this tourny North Texas is averaging 33FT's per game, @84%

While WKU is avg 20ft per game, @64%

If the game is close you gotta like North Texas with those stats. WKU has missed a lot of free throws toward the end of the close games they've been in this year. I just went through and looked at their last several games decided by less than 5 points and I wouldn't say they were hitting free throws with much regularity. That won't matter though if they are up at the end. That's what scares me, because North Texas seems to rely a ton on scoring from the free throw line, but it's not like WKU fouls a ton. If the refs aren't calling fouls then WKU has a big advantage it seems to me. I think this game might be a stay-away since the teams are pretty evenly matched and I could see this one decided by how the refs call the game

This is true. Lang's pick on Wofford yesterday was cocky to say the least but it was the right pick for sure. That So. Con. Champ game tonight between Wofford and COC is going to be pretty good, both teams got to be tired!!!
