Why do you like NT so much? I know they just beat FAU, but they lost to WKU earlier in the year.

aldridge but he has an ankle injury, so he will not be scoring his normal percentage that he would if he had a healthy ankle.

They seem to be somewhat similar teams. Neither team relies on the 3 much, and both teams seem to be really experienced. North Texas has the most experience of any CBB team according to Ken Pom, so they are filled with seniors and they made the tourney last year so that is a good sign in terms of how this group steps up in big games. WKU made it two years ago though, with a lot of the same players who are on the team now. WKU beat Illinois and almost beat Gonzaga in the tourney two years ago. North Texas lives at the free throw line. That makes me think they are pretty aggressive and get to the basket. WKU won the only time they played this year, but it was at WKU and it was the fourth straight loss for North Texas, so they weren't playing too well at the time.
With all that said, I haven't watched either team play once all year - can anyone who has seen these two teams comment? I like the fact that North Texas is really experienced, doesn't rely on the 3 (so i'm not worried about their legs getting tired), and is in a revenge game situation, but it really seems like the two teams are fairly evenly matched

Its amazing how many FT's teams in this conference shoot.
I saw one box score were the away team shot 35 FT's, and the other shot 24. WOW

In all seriousness though, North Texas will prolly win this one unless something dramatic happens like "Lang picks it" or "Rubberband play by BrokeLanders". Lang made a pick yesterday and the line wasn't even out yet. He got lucky and won believe it or not. LOL

When UNT lost to WKU last, UNT player, Holman scored 14 points, he is out for the season. WKU is gonna crush them tonight.

Bro you need to realize that these guys have no affect on the game. Lang will most likely be on WK anyway.

And your "Lock" does?! Point proven....they don't affect the outcome, nor is yours a "lock". But it's a proven fact fading Langs picks make $.

North texas has the highest free throw attempts per field goal attempts in the nation
WKU is middle of the pack
edit:
North texas also has a great free throw % whereas WKU is abysmal
