Looks like a lot of Sbr members were on Portland tonight and it's good to see everyone cashing. Marist puts together an unprecedented offensive performance and I get the clean sweep . Going to pass on the Kansas St./Washingston St. game and enjoy it while sipping a glass of Bulleit Bourbon. Anyone a big fan of George T. Stagg? I heard it has an excellent flavor with a touch of water. Anyhow, happy weekend to everyone!

The NBA has Miamia heat and College basketball has a handful of teams that beat up on smaller programs, but lose handily to respectable teams. The Gonzaga Bulldogs epitomize one of these teams and I see Illinois covering tonight. A statistical side-by-side comparison might lead you to believe that this is going to be a tight one...but trust me, Zags continue their woes against top tier teams tonight in the city you'd never want to visit, Spokane Seattle Washington (former Washingtonian). I also like Delaware to hang within 10 of Old D. Nothing prolific about this pick, other than asking this team to win by a double digit margin is like asking the Jets to win by 10 or more on any given day. Sure they can, but you'd be a sucker to regularly take both teams at 10 pts or more against middle of the pack opponents, especially on the road!

      Ill -1.5 (2 units)
      Delaware +10 (1 unit)

Not a lot of value on today's card...lean Maryland to cover Temple, but don't like it enough to lay cash on 'em. My one play for today is purely a movement/public perception (largely justified) play. Clemson..yes...god dammit...I'm going to lay .75 units on them. Line has moved against the public, the public is all over South Carolina, and Clemson is much better than their last game against a very impressive and young Michigan team. Not sure if anyone else caught that game, but Clemson shot itself in the foot during the first half...nothing was going down...layups...freethrows...nothing. On the other hand...I was seeing white Michigan players reenacting Michael Jordon highlight clips...(#23's double-pump jump shot from the freethrow line that goes in lol). No, I don't live in the South and I never attended Clemson, but I like them to rebound (that would be nice too) today against the Gamecocks and walk away with a much needed win!

          Clemson -1
