does it? i have an nba thread and had an NFL thread as well. working on my baseball systems as we speak this morning (that thread is up also)...
i have a full time job and adverting my plays/records is not why i post. i am one of those rare guys who doesn't want people tailing me. yet im also one of the rare guys who posts an accurate record from beginning to the end of the season.
but to be totally clear. my excel sheet with my plays is kept at my home laptop. during the day/night i find some time to analyze the games and make my plays. i work from about 7:30 to 5:30-6 each day....get home at 7..............games dont conclude until 1am each night. im in bed by 10-12. i go to work in the morning to make a living. should i update my threads at work in the day or should i focus on my job? should i come home at night and update each of my threads records on sbr or cap the games for that night and the following day.
you should be thankful that im one of the honest guys here who keeps an accurate record and doesnt disappear when im down
go find me 5 guys who do the same....

not everyone posts picks looking for attention or to tout their record. he's not keeping the thread for you and he's not telling people to tail him blindly. i don't understand why you care enough to ask the same question repeatedly, but not enough to look back through a couple of pages to Monday and figure it out yourself.Comment -

i just want to be clear.....i am not here telling people they will become VIP's in vegas nor do i guarantee anything.
i grinded away in the nfl to a cash positive season and i am trying to do the same here..

damn Dex I can't keep up with all these picks. I didn't get in on the Oakland game, but I was watching it on CBS Sports Line to see if you would get it. Last I looked it showed 1 second left in the game, and Oakland was up and the combined score was 160, well I stepped away for a few minutes and thought damn that will be a bummer if Dex mises this by 2 pts but he does have the cover by IPFW. Well just got back to my computer and saw that you not only got the cover but somehow in 1 second, you covered the over too. Well congrats bud, that was a nice win of 7units.

I really like the Boise -8.5 and will be on it. I know you don't do halves, but I am going to play USU, Boise, and BYU to cover the 1st half. Being on their home courts with USU coming off a loss to Idaho should be fired up. Boise should take advantage of a possible let down after Idaho beat USU at their floor. And the rivalry between BYU and UofU is ugly, so I see a blow out first half. I will look at each of these games, then make a play 2nd half. USU traditionally will not cover the 2nd half if they have a big lead.
I will look at what you listed and probably tail some that I really like. I would like to play all of them, but I don't have the stamina that you have.

ive dropped a nickel on over oakland for like their last 5 games....and hit each time.....they are the run n gun team of the ncaa, and play no defensedamn Dex I can't keep up with all these picks. that is funny. yea, utah is an interesting place. I think my best plays today will be boise to cover the game although i have them first half too and USU and BYU to cover 1st Half. sticking close to home
oh yea, i didint' realize you were on wisconsin til it was too late so I lost 1.5x on ohio, luckily i went with wyoming -2 in the first half and they coverd. My day so far is red, then black, then back in red, now back in black (hmm that last part sounds like an AC/DC ad)Comment -

I wish I could say that i have a system, but I don't. I have just been looking at the lines first half and games for the WAC teams and the MTW teams, and am familiar enough with them that I have been getting a good feel for what might happen. I look at their past matchups this year and the last few games. I also know that teams like LaTech are competitive at home but struggle on the road. USU is best in the first half. Idaho struggles away from home and Boise seems to have their numbers, so I like Boise today.
I took LaTech +0.5 first half today and won it, they were getting +1 2nd half and NMSt is a better team so for only -1 NMSt, I took them 2nd half and won that one too. Wyoming in the winter is a tough place to travel too and there is nothing to do there this time of year, so I took Wyoming 1st TCU. Then liked the -1 Wyoming was giving so took them again 2nd half.
No good system, got killed all of last year, but hanging in there much better this year. Don't know if you remember, but I asked you a few questions early last year since I had never tried betting games before. You were cool with my questions. I have picked up things from a lot of people on this site, but most just check what you, SJ, LB, Paco, and LC are playing then look at my angles and make my picks. I have learned a lot from all of you.
One other thing that has worked okay for me is to look at your picks, check the scores at half, see how far it is from the play you took and the 2nd half line and make a play from that. I am 4 out of 5 doing that today: I made a play on GSt that way, won; 2H clemson, won; 2H vandy, won; 2nd H Samford, loss; 2H LSU, win;

Today's free play is on Wichita State in a crucial Missouri Valley game.
It's not often I play a road team in revenge, but that's what I'm doing here. Normally revenge games are better to play when the team seeking it is at home, but I truly believe the Shockers are better than Northern Iowa now and they will prove it tonight.
Northern Iowa hasn't impressed me recently, and I can't really put my finger on why they have looked so bad.
They've lost two straight to lowly Evansville and Drake, plus a two-point home win over lowly Illinois State. Before that a one-point win over Missouri State and a four-point home win over Creighton. Not exactly head-turning.
Wichita State, meanwhile, has won five of their last six after that three-point home loss to Northern Iowa, including two wins over Indiana State. In fact, if you look at their wins this year... they seem to play better on the road with a better margin of victory away from Wichita. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but this team is a better road team than when they play at home.
With revenge on their minds and a chance to pull three games ahead of Northern Iowa in conference, I like the Shockers to get the outright win on the road tonight, 71-66.
