I like your bama pick for the game. My picks for CBB were first halves today: I took KY -2, Seton Hall +2, Illinois -2, and byu -11.5

I am betting that Kentucky covers the first then loses it close in the 2nd half. I will see how it goes and if my wife isn't bothered by me studying the game, I will take a side on the 2nd half.

just been noticing that the home team often covers the first half when playing a better ranked team, and a good ranked team covering first half at home when playing a mediocre team. I have seen too many teams do what byu did today, whoop on someone first half with a big lead, then coast the rest of the game. No real stats, just been finding a few games that seemed right. I went against myself with Kentucky and lost that first half, then thought byu would sustain their first half beating of TCU and lost some of my winnings there. if I would have stuck with what I listed, then I would have gone 3-1. if I would have stuck with bama and not taken K first half and stayed away from 2nd half then I would be 4-0, instead I went 3-2. ha ha, more info than what you wanted.

also been looking at pinny opening lines a bit and looking for a juiced line at the open and if it fits the above, I have been taking it. Not very sophisticated but trying.

tomorrow I will look at first halves of ohio st, louisville, notre dame, west virg, purdue, sd st, and st mary's. one thing for sure is that san diego is not very good and plays st mary's and air force is okay and is playing san diego st who is pretty darn good. all of these teams are at home tomorrow.

I might be full of shit, but I will look at the early pinny lines and see if I can pick 3 or 4 1H games to play and see if I can win them.

Well... I wouldn't follow anything I post, I am only barely grasping whta guys like Dex are doing. As Dex said "experimenting with halves?" and that is really all that it is. If you want a chance to win, tail Dex. I just put on here the few plays that I like once in a while to see what Dex says.

well Dex, for 1H I went with Ohio St -10.5, SD St -10.5, St Mary's -16, and still looking at Louisville, NM and Purdue. I really like NM away at Utah. Utah still sucks.
