yeah chili i feel that as well. i don't like posting my own plays for the very same reason. it's fine when i lose, i'm cool with that, but to cause other people to lose as well is iffy... still, they've got to know what they're doing when they're tailing somebody. you're not holding a gun to their head when they're logging in to their book and entering the bets

as for me, i went 8-0 yesterday on the nba and came up with a small loss thanks to ncaa. 15-11 overall on the day, which means I was a BIG loser with the ncaa, going 7-11. That hurts, but i'm still chalking it to variance, since i've had days in the ncaa where I've gone 20-2 and 17-4, things like that. If we can win big going one way, going 7-11 isn't too bad when it's all said and done

Did you play totals as well in the nba? I went 3-1 on NBA, which I'm very glad that happened, because that saved me from having a really bad losing day.

As for the rest, I chalk it up to variance as well - it's going to happen. Looking back over my records, I have a 20-8 day, another 22-8 day, 14-5, 20-11, 21-9, etc. My winning days are greatly outnumbering the losing days.

i didn't play any totals in the nba yesterday as i didnt have the time to do any calculations. i did bet big on houston (because betus was offering +3 when pinny had it at 1 and 1.5 throughout the day) with the points and moneyline, utah, and phoenix who seems to have miraculously covered at the last minute, as they were getting blown out for most of the game. i also had the pacers, which sort of kills me because i considered playing the moneyline for them, nets and knicks, so all in all it was an amazing day in the nba.

Tried to play with calculator today doesn't look like it works right now. Does anyone has same problem?

Ras - yeah I have problems with the caluclator too. Everytime in input -110 into the favorite price i get an positive number that is usually double digit.

I'm also debating whether or not to post my plays anymore. If I have a losing day, that's one thing - I can handle my own losses. But just the knowledge that other people are tailing the plays, and could loss as well, that makes it a lot different, and I don't like that feeling at all.

Hi Chilidog...I would kindly request that you DO continue posting your selections. You are UP +42 units over the past 5 days alone.

Having an occasional "bad day" is ABSOLUTELY PART OF THE GAME. For a great capper like yourself to stop giving out picks simply because of a bad day where those tailing him lost money is like throwing away a priceless 5 carat diamond because it was delivered in a rumpled paper bag. Folks who tail you are adults and most of those on this forum are grown enough to realize that THERE WILL BE LOSING DAYS...it's IMPOSSIBLE not to have those days.

Punters know the risks involved in tailing a good capper...but they are willing to take those risks simply because over the long haul the rewards outweigh the risks. It's kind of like saying "I'll not fly on an airplane anymore because I've read that planes sometimes crash" Yet fliers (knowing the risks) still fly by the millions everyday. Crude analogy but I'm sure that you get my point.

Please...I (and I'm sure others) are doing very well with your selections...I understand the risks...and I still wish to "fly on the plane"...hope you decide to continue.

wooohooo! I only had 4 CBB games tonight out of the 9 that were on the board, and I went 3-1 tonight, picking up +9.1 units! So I recovered from yesterday's 4 unit lost, and made 5 units profit.

Sorry that I didn't get a chance to post my games tonight; I had a last-minute work emergency to take care of, so I was pressed for time.

am i right in saying this won't work with books that always have the fav and dog at -110. Otherwise your really playing point spreads and the sytem would be set always

No, you want to play at books that have fav/dog set at -110, or at -105 if you can get it. You're finding the edge difference between your book and pinnacle lines.
