No System #1 plays today. There is only one unranked home team playing a ranked team today. The only possibility would be Green Bay vs #18 Butler. Its a no play because Butler is the favorite.
No System #2 plays. We faded Seton Hall last night and we have to wait for another System 1 winner before we have another System #2 play.
For Saturday the only possibilities are Depaul vs. Syracuse (which will be a no play because Syracuse will obviously be the favorite), San Francisco vs. Gonzaga (which will be a no play because Gonzaga will obviously be the favorite) and Missouri State vs. Northern Iowa (Might be a play if Missouri State is the home favorite)Comment -

I got it late last night at -3.5 (buying .5)

In my "Best Bet" Plays thread i started record for 2 "systems" that i have tracked since the beginning of the year which have done quit well in the past and also this year thus far. Last night i posted the first play for "System #1 (Wichita State -3) and it was a WIN. That being said "System #1 will have a record of 1-0 in this thread. I also decided i would post the rules for each "System" so others will understand where the plays are comming from and if they want to track it themselves they can or they can simply just look at this thread for the plays, whichever is easier for you.
We are all here to make money not to compare ourselves with each other. Some have been critical of me in the present and in the past for creating different threads with different wagering styles and posting a record for each post accusing me of re-starting me records. Some of you who read my posts know i usually have a detailed explanation and write-up for my plays and i do quit well with my posted plays.
A little about myself...I am retired at age 39....I was blessed to be retired at such a young age...and wagering on sports is my 2nd income. I spend alot of time handicapping all major sports excluding the NHL. I take great pride in cashing my ticktets at the window after my play wins knowing that my hard work and time spent handicapping games payed off. I dont claim to know everything and i know, after being in this buisness for many years (Full time as of 2 years ago), we all can learn new things from other.
Alot of people/posters here at SBR (including myself) get caught up in posting plays with no write-up or explanation. All others see is a play and no reasoning behind the plays. What the posters here need to realize is we all don't know each other on a personal basis and to expect other people to place a wager on a posted play with no reasoning behind the play is alot to expect, especially when its their hard earned dollar at risk. This is the reason for this post. I have decided to take the 2 "Systems" i started last night in my "Best Bet" Play thread and post them here...describing in detail what each "System" is and how the plays are determined. I will post each "System" and the rules that govern the plays so everyone knows exactly what the system is and how it works.
You can agree and tail or you can disagree and fade. There is no handicapping using stats, ect. with these "Systems" so i dont really care if one team has better stats than the other. I dont really care if one team is "Battle tested" or "Road tested" or not. These are 2 "Systems" that have been around for a while which not to many people pay much attention to but as i stated previously are quit successfull over the entire season. The great thing about these 2 "Systems" is you dont have to spend 5 hours a day handicapping games getting you spouse or significant other pissed at you. This, at the most takes 15 minutes out of your day...and if you decide to just read this thread to get the plays it will only take you about 2 minutes out of your day. I hope i can help others make money using my suggestions and information. I enjoy doing this for others and as i said earlier we all can learn from each other.
I will work on getting the specifics about each "System" written out and have all the information posted within the hour if you are interested. Hope everyone had a successfull night and of course anyone is welcome in this thread and all comments and questions are always welcome.

If your as mis-informed as your post I hope you don't bet. Try looking at the AP and coaches poll than take a look at ESPN where G-Tech is ranked 19th. I guess you knew that if you check the polls on Monday morning those are still the previous weeks rankings. And I'm sure you knew that UConn lost to 2 unranked teams last which would push them out of the top 25. But I don't need to tell you that because your so much smarter than me and I don't watch Bball. Don't come at someone until you have your ducks in a row.

To all the people who PLAY THESE SYSTEM PLAYS:
When i made the post and play on Louisville this morning apparently the new rankings werent out yet and at the time i made the post they were a play because UCONN was ranked. The new rankings came out after i posted the play and UCONN is now not ranked so as far as this thread is concerned a Louisville win or loss will NOT be counted. I apologize for the confusion and at least its looking like if you made the play on Louisville it is winning at the momment. GL and i will update this thread later tonight if there are any plays on tuesday.Comment -
Very rare to see someone on SBR admit they were wrong. I have a lot of respect for you doing that. I honestly just wanted to know if this was a "legit" system play because of the change in rankings. Did not intend to mix it up. Snap just explained things so I got my answer. I considered betting UConn but I'm glad I did not. I DO hope it comes in for all the Lou backers now.
