They are all the exact ATS default bet per side using only the sportsbook I bet on which is run by a state
and operated by William Hill in collaboration with IGT. So, Hill is the linesmaker. Virtually all of them are -110
but rarely there will be a -105 or other slight differential which only occurs in cases when the lines are moving
and in those cases often the odds will adjust up to 5 basis points before the half-point adjusts.
Lines are always moving. I don't adjust them based on action, and I don't buy any hooks in this thread.

It doesn't look like any of my plays today are in the Maui Tournament.

Guys yesterday was kinda rough because it was the day before the holiday and some of these players just don't care about these early tournaments and get distracted. There were games I felt stronger about than others, but I don't want to skew the thread. It's supposed to be just all of them ATS not a spot play thread. Looking forward to normal cards and normal schedules. There can be strength in numbers rather than overcommitting to a small number of plays, especially this early in the season with oddball mini-tournaments at strange locations. Some of the losses were ridiculously close but the other side of that equation always surfaces also. Perhaps most of you will, rather than tail all the plays, just use this as a starting point to making your bets, a place to check in and see if I also like that same side or total you're considering, or check-in on them in live betting for opportunities.

I will try to start posting the W/L per game with lost or won by (how many ATS points) because I feel that is good information to see. I will only be able to do it as time allows, probably not every time. RavensFan23, I think it was the weaknesses in Hawaii's defense and some strength in UIC's roster that made me pick UIC. That theory was right, as UIC scored 80 points, but not right because Hawaii was very hot and scored 88. I liked the Over also but it was probably too high for me to take. Loyola went cold in the 2nd half, and Dayton was somehow insanely hot from beyond the arc at Miami.

It happens every year. Now we know the season is maturing... because home teams that showed nothing statwise are beating superior visitors. I really thought Duke had this one. Sizable lead all game so I stopped watching.
Nope. Clemson's stats were nothing like on paper. The Rutgers home crowd got to them. Indiana forced 2 OT's but never was in control of the game. Carrier Dome cheerleaders were too much. So it made for a bad night, but now is the time to take home court more seriously, especially for schools where the crowd shows up and puts pressure on them. Home Teams went 36-9 last night.
Another thing I'm going back to is capping before I see the line so it's not an influence. Only after I have my own number will I compare. Home court is worth about 5. In reality it can be worth double digits sometimes.
I don't think it's time to start lowering the number of bets yet, because more often than not, there is safety in numbers when the season is young.

good points and there are probably 3 tiers of HCA by school support. To what degree Christmas Break drains home attendance I think would depend on geographical commute distances. Some places it actually gets more attendance, like in the Northeast where school commute times are very small. Other places I think your point is valid.

Everyone's an expert in hindsight, but one thing I have noticed over the years (but have zero data to back up) is that when high majors play these lower tiered schools and the lower tiered school likes to play fast, a lot of points get scored. That game ended with 83 possessions. The horrid FT shooting kept it closer to the total than the pace would have suggested. Not a critique, just an observation.

Knuckleheadz: there was and is today nothing on the Eastern Washington injury report. Just the public buying up favorites and it payed off for them there. Eagles let 89 points go down on their home court which is pathetic. Another game I liked but didn't want to gamble on a road favorite yesterday was Wright St, and they covered. I took Youngstown ML which paid. Can you imagine Missouri Tigers go to Liberty which isn't even a good team and only score 45 points. This is unheard of. Something doesn't seem to be right with the new kids these days. I don't think they embrace the same level of effort we're used to. Some state books ban in-state team wagering. I would not rule out some rigging happening. Not only since the legalization but also I thought I saw some creeping in with the crypto books. It's something to consider, like with the older, burnt out tennis guys that are more apt to throw matches, some of these lesser schools that are already negative about their seasons I have to wonder if it's happening. p.s. Miquelon I will leave most favored bets up to you, it is actually more risky picking one game to go big on than a group to spread out the risk. I'm sure I will do that later in the season but not yet.
