Yes, this is an away game and temple is a good team. It would be fun to take the points and watch an upset, BUT this is Villanova! I watched temple barely beat a subpar Wisconsin team at home and almost blow a 16 pt lead vs st Joseph. Villanova does not make many mistakes and are well coached along with being very disciplined. Temple may keep it close in the first half but Villanova will dominate in the second half. Villanova by 14!

creighton is averaging 90 pts a game and this is the type of game where they will put up 100! UMES has lost by this number 4x already this year. I see a 100-60 game and that is being generous to a team that averages 57 pts per game! Im taking creighton Friday night and they win by 40!

seton hall has been looking great since a loss to Rhode Island. Rutgers has looked good vs lesser talented teams but have loss to fsu, msu and minn. I do seton hall being to much for Rutgers and hall running away with this one. SH by 12!

UTA played a great game vs Alabama and only lost by 1. Their other losses are vs UNI and Florida gulf coast. They have yet to loss by 10, I think today is the day. Creighton averages 12 pts more a game and are at home. Creighton by 14!

xavier and marshall both had terrific games this wknd. Marshall won in OT vs ohio and xavier erased a 22 pt lead just in time to beat ETSU. Marshall is not a bad team. They have to terrific guards in Burks and conference USA POY candidate Jon Elmore. I think marshall will learn a thing or two watching the ETSU game tape and they cover the spread. Xavier by 16!

Georgetown looked really good for most of the game vs syracuse. They should have won, but they lost and didnt cover. I was very surprised on how well they did. I have faded this team the last three games and won. In fact georgetown is 1-5 vs the spread. North texas has some decent players on this team. Smart is shooting the 3 at 43%, and woolridge and lawson can play. I expect this one to be a good game this georgetown winning by 4!

St johns is looking like the most improved team in the big east. Ponds is a great player and st johns defense is looking tough. St josephs has some very talented kids too. Newkirk and Demery are putting up 16 a game. The loss of Lovett for st johns is going to hurt them in this game. That will be the difference and st josephs wins by 3.....at the buzzer!

providence is dealing with some injuries. Cartwright is questionable for today's game and I don't think he will play much if he does play because providence does not want to risk further injury before the start of big east. Providence are coming off a loss to Houston but prior to that they won by less than 10 to stony brook and brown. Sacred heart is not a bad team that will contend for the northeast conference title. They have four returning starters that should help keep the number under 18. Providence by 10!

xavier has been really banged up the last 2 games. Everyone has some sort of injury. UNI is playing tough and are playing at home. Most people are talking about "upset alert". I disagree, Gates and Mucura have passed concussion protocol and returned to practice Thursday. Xavier will want to make a statement after close wins before the big eas play. I see this one close in the first half with xmen winning by 10 at the end!
