Since I mostly tail big east games, I will be posting plays in here that only involve big east teams. Tail of fade as you wish!

My predicted big east standings:

St. John's does scare me, Lovett and ponds should be great. Im interested to see how Justin Simon does. They have one problem that they share with marquette....rebounding!

Villanova -25.5

Yea this is a large number, but Columbia will be looking for new leadership this year. Petrasek is gone and it may take some time to figure things out. Villanova on the other hand is loaded. Brunson leading the show and I think we will start hearing a new name starting tonight....Omari spellman! Villanova by 35.


Seton hall and Xavier should cover tonight but I'm staying off until I see them play. Im really interested in Yale/creighton game. It should be a good one!

DePaul will be improved this year. Grandstaff and strus should be fun to watch and keep the demons in close games but they will have their hands full with colson. Demons keep is close until late. ND by 13

Butler -8

Lavall jordan received his first W as butlers head coach with an easy win on Friday. Martin poured in 20 and looks solid. Butler now has a game under their new head coach and plays a Princeton team that lost a lot of talent including ivy POY Weisz. Princeton should have another successful year but I don't see them keeping this game below 12

I had Princeton at +9 but not gonna sweat it....gonna be ALOT of these this season.

I agree regul8er. A lot of spreads will come down to FT. Some coaches will continue to coach and foul no matter what the Score. I wish you the best of luck too!

For sure! Didnt watch, just saw the play by play. Called timeout at 29 seconds, but didnt foul until 11 seconds left. If your stretch the game out, stretch it out, lol. But you win some like this and lose some.

rider had a nice all around game and win vs Hampton with all 5 starters scoring in double digits. Xavier doubled up morehead and Bluiett looked sharp pouring in 25 pts. Xavier is so athletic. Rider will be in foul trouble and likely have 15+ turnovers. Xavier covers by 30!

I really like this match-up for providence. Minnesota is a great big ten team but are not that deep. These big time early season games can come down to conditioning and a deep roster. I may be wrong, but I think minnesota will just run out of gas. Friars win by 8.

Purdue -4

Marquette can flat out shoot from behind the arc but they are very much lacking in size. This is where Purdue will beat them. Marquette will have to double team anyone in the paint and that will leave one of many open shooters. I will be at this game and I hope I'm wrong but until harry froling is eligible in December, we will struggle vs tall athletic frontcourts. Purdue by 10.

I'm just trying to cap and be realistic about this game. Haas is going to be a BIG problems for them tonight. I expect alot of fouls on marquette. Again, hope i am wrong.

Cent conn st's may be 0-2, but both games were close. Cent conn st is also a good 3pt shooting team. I think Nehls and Kohl will do enough to keep this game below 20

foster and Thomas are explosive and can score for creighton, but they will not be able to carry the load tonight. Northwestern returns a bunch of talented players who can all score. They have yet to look dominant this year, but they will be up for this key matchup at home. Be by 10!

Pick #9Xavier +1Madison is a hard place for any away team to come in and get a W. Ethan happ is the real deal and a hard guy to stop. Although, I think Tyrique jones should give him a battle. This game will come down to guard play. Bluiett is a big problem for wisconsin. He will be the difference and give Xavier the W.

Villanova -29.5
Villanova should not have any problem covering 30+ points in this game. Klinewski is a good shooter for Lafayette.....and that is were it ends. Brunson and company will be padding stats in this game. Nova by more than enough!

providence is going to be one of the best teams in the big east this year, but they just are not looking very dominant this early in the season. On the other hand, St. Louis defense is looking great. They put the clamps on buzz Williams v tech team last night and Michigan st transfer Bess looked really good. St. Louis will keep up the lock down defense and will cover the 8.5....and possibly WIN!
