Gulfstream race 6

Im going make a long shot play here with #2 Rodeo Red (12/1) , This field has a bunch of droppers that have faced much better but haven't shown much and barns are getting rid off. This 3 year old gelding hasn't been terrible on the dirt and is completely dirtied up here , which is what we look for. Look at the race the last time they went turf to dirt , it was a 50k MSW It was a 6 length 4th place finish but only 1.25 lengths behind Candy Tycoon on that day. The previous time on the slop finished 3rd and had some trouble. Why not take a shot

#1 Heathers Grey (8/1) , Chased a lightning fast pace in the last and still was only beaten less than 4. #3 Ellie Arroway (6/1) , Is very dangerous if able to get back to that 3rd year old form, the works seem that is indeed the case 2nd off the layoff here. #5 Hollywood Girl (6/1) , should get the setup for the closing style here, but will have to be fully cranked up off the bench. #10 Kookie Gal (8/1) , might the perfect trip if able to save ground early and work over from this post. Will need to check the tote on the euro invader #11 Gypsy Spirit (7/2) , Gets the meds and has been running against tougher over there. I like the steady work tab here since early Feb, and Plat rides.

This is wide open, I’d side with the 2 outside horses #10 Kookie Gal and #11 Gypsy Spirit for the win money

I have no what velez was doing that entire race,

He steadied twice fighting the horse and then eventually just got tossed

Went 12/1 to 7/1 in gate

That was hard to watch

Ill try another long shot #6 Dakotas Dude (15/1) , this gelding has some big numbers in the past, albeit that was with jason servis and Jorge Abreu. But falcone has good numbers third off the layoff, Not a Nik Juarez fan, but has a few wins as of late. The work was on the turf for this prep but was strong. Not that Irad and Saez both took a mount on this horse at teh 16k level, so the agent must of been hearing something. Drops the tag down 10k

Always going to look for a price in these bottom level claimers

I do think that horse had some more run, once they steadied it was all over

And idk what he was thinking , glad he's ok, but pretty much deserved to get tossed

I’m taking horses 4- Legend Emma (ML 10-1) may steal the race, 10- Dupioni (ML 4-1), nice effort last out- tactical speed with a good closing kick. Think the 9 and 1 will take some money. GL on whatever you decide.

#1 Quick stretching out should love it Rispoli/Sadler, #9 Muchly was blah on debut but Prat is on, expect better...both will take heavy money. understandably.

#10 Dupioni in front of #5 Lavender last time out, #10 started slow finished well, is a threat but tougher post.

#4 Legend Emma in 18' finished second to Got Stormy, would assume Fuentes tries to go and take this one as far it can go

#5 Madame Bourbon- This one broke through gates last time, and looked to be a scratch, but nope of course Santa Anita puts right back in the gate and the horse refuses to move once the gate opens! 20-1 DVD sticks around, longshot. I bet this one last time out lol

Im against the 1, I hate the angle of a closing sprinter stretching out, it rarely works out and although Im sadlers biggest fan, I just can't get behind that move, this horse was meant for the shorter distance and just look at the routes over sees.

He is going against what he felt this filly was going to excell at, and frustrated by 2 near misses under joel

Im going to make a Place bet on the #5 Lavender, improving filly who has been less than beaten by 2 in since being in the states. I understand the 10 finished ahead last out

and the big overlay on 12 you have to include in. Bet like this even though I didn’t like much
