I do wanna talk about the stakes race tomorrow.
Race 10
I really want to see your guys thoughts on #3 Totalist's Shape (8/5) , Chestnut filly was dominate leading up to the GP Oaks and didn't show up that day. We were against filly then and I think I want to be against again today. That race didn't go as expected as Paco just got an easy lead on Swiss Skydiver and wired this field, but we have seen what kinda of filly that one has become, after that effort against Venetian Harbor. But the reason I was against then, is the same as now, the races she won , while ultra impressive, just haven't came back very strong, and while that is a very odd thing to say about graded stake races, idk. It just what im feeling.
Lets say we do wanna be against this favorite. Barclay Tagg saddles the #2 Pleasant Orb (10/1) , 54 days off is no problem for this barn and although he is one of my favorites, this is a tough task to try winners for the first time. Im always interested in the connections of Terry Pompay and Miguel Vazquez who team up with the #4 Money Never Sleeps (15/1) , This pace in the in this field is going to be blistering for a mile and 1/16th event. Just while im thinking about it, I will definitely be using this one, if the track was to be fast, but on the predicted off track, I don't this ones chances being able to come off the pace, getting all that kick back, one bit. Shug brings in the #6 Viglantes Way (8/1) , and being second off the layoff, I trust him here trying winners for the first time. On a fast track, I'd be liking #7 Dream Marie's (5/1), chances and potentially my top pick. I had a big win bet the #8 Cheermeister (7/2) , last out and just got nipped on the card as teh last Totalist's Shape Race at 6.5/1. Just a must use if this is on a wet track as may be the speed of the speed , drawn to outside and the closers won't like the kick back.

Race 1
#1 K P Indy (5/1) , I find it interesting that Jeff Mullins sent this one in a quarter race at Los Al which basically served as an intense workout. The 3 works since have been great and maybe make the transition vs winners on the lawn an easier and more confident task. Note finishing only a 1.5 lengths behind Encorder on debut. The connections are showing extreme confidence in this chestnut colt. Could be sitting on a big one. #3 Rager (7/2), Has a couple of races at Oakland Park, during this break that many others don’t in this field. Picked up the pieces in the last to finish 3rd behind No Parole and American Butterfly in the last. Gets back to the turf, where these connections want him anyway, and Im really encouraged by the turf race on 07FEB , going this distance on the lawn finishing only a length and half behind Billy Batts and ahead of next out winner Rookie Mistake. That race wins here, and should get pace to close into here, since being gelded may be more focused today, potentially closer to the pace. #5 Drop the Chalupa (4/1) , was very impressive on debut, and was overlooked at the windows. I would of liked to see a turf work, but the morning slate is a strong one, nonetheless. #10 Thanks Mr. Eidson (12/1) , might be the speed of the speed and is drawn ideally. Plenty breed for the green stuff, and while I don’t think this one can win off this long layoff, may hold onto a share.
I think its either the #1 or the #3 for the win money, and top be used on top.Comment -
SA Race 2
I like the #4 Miss Ryleigh (7/2) , to rebound in this spot. Ran 2nd on debut to a next out winner, had legit trouble and was very green. they moved this filly up and was a beaten favorite after being pulled up early. Idk I guess the Baffert is the clear talent, but you want odds on off a year and half layoff? Thats the #9 Tale of the union (8/5) , I thought Sadlers #3 Galilean (2/1) , was ultra game in the last of a long layoff. and Prat has some great work on this colt. Im intrigued by the #5 Miss Maris (9/2) , Kent Sweezy shipped this new jersey breed down to tampa and got a race in off the layoff. Jaramillo takes the reins here for a mare that 2: 0-2-0 on the off track. Tough to back a 1 for 18 but ill take a shot on this one to place.Comment -

R2- #5 Talia, I think horse is live, see what tote board says and #6 Sweet Honor blinkers first time w/ Rispoli.

Sa Race 4
Im going to make this my play of the day
#2 Pammi Dearest (6/1) , I think this filly is very hidden here. Didn’t do much running vs much tougher on the 2 turf tries. Dropped in for a 50k tag off a 7 month layoff and lost all chance at the start. The work tab is very strong since and Velez returns. 4 year old running against mostly 3 year olds Could be sitting on a big performance at a nice price.
