I feel very good about where Winthrop is at the break. Is anyone watching the game? High Point has come up with just about every loose ball, and every single 50/50 out of bounds ball goes to High Point. With this said, and the fact that Winthrop has struggled shooting, and still leads at half is a good sign! I'm thinking that once they get a few calls and knock down a few shots, they will be in good shape.Comment -

Nice win.....would have been a brutal loss if that layup goes down! I'm just glad Keon Moore showed up in the 1st half to keep Winthrop right there. Now its time for upper-classmen Joab Jerome and Andre Smith to provide some secondary scoring. I'm just hoping they can hold John Brown on HP for another half.......I don't see many guys that on their roster that can carry the load after Brown.Comment -

My favorites on the list are probably Indiana St ML and Loyola Marymount. I know Southern Illinois played well last night, knocking off Northern Iowa, but this Indiana St team is really good. I don't think -160 is asking too much. Plus, Indiana St is the most experienced team in the Valley, starting 3 SR's and 1 JR.....while the Salukis start 3 FR. Yesterday's win was nice, but asking to knock out another top seed in less then 20 hours is asking alot.
Loyola Marymount enjoys Las Vegas......remember last years epic run to the Semis, with 3 wins in 3 days, after finishing at the bottom of the WCC. Well, they got things off on the right foot, knocking off Portland, and getting Friday off. BYU is a solid squad, but they haven't done anything special outside of Provo all year.......and 11.5 seems like way too many to lay.

Not sure why I continually let Drexel and Bill & Mary beat me all year long. 0-6 on Drexel, and about to be 0-7 on Bill & Mary. I play the numbers, and not sure why those numbers don't work out at least 1 time....very strange. Im watching Gonzaga/San Clara, and absolutely puzzled as to how Santa Clara went 6-12 in a pretty weak conference like the WCC? They have shooters, post play and seem to be have an answer everytime Gonzaga tries to make a run.Comment
