Well guess today is giving back some. Georgia State blew it as did VCU. Will look at 2nd halves in the other two, but otherwise gearing up for the Big Dance, NIT, CBI, CIT.

Ah only Georgia State I considered a hard choke. VCU had a good shot, but they never got up by more than four - so that game was always in question. Be ready to rock this week and I'm going to San Antonio for the Big Dance on Thursday ... some quality teams and my Pops finally gets to see his favorite team, North Carolina, in person ... pretty awesome.

So in looking back at the three weeks since I restarted here with the Addiction, +3.43 overall. Had two winning weeks and one loser. The losing week was actually a winning week until the Sunday where I could not pick anything right to save myself. Overall, pleased with what I have done. Futures were pretty fruitless. Was able to hedge in the MAC, but overall ended up down on those investments. Will not scare me away from making them in the NCAAs though because those have been good to me in the past and if you research, I firmly believe you can make $ with them.

CIT: Brown -155

The home side from the Ivy League I like in this one. They narrowly lost to the best team they played [Harvard] in OT at home in their season finale and generally battled well @ home. Their three point shooters should have a chance to tee off against Holy Cross who gives up around 37% from beyond the arc. McGonagill is the guy to watch for the Bears, he's a stud in this league. Brown should also have a rebounding advantage. They were the top glass eaters in the Iby league, averaging almost 40 per game. Holy Cross was a decent rebounding team, but only around 31 per game. Brown also sports a stingy defense that allows under 30% from beyond the arc and ranked even better than Harvard in FG% defense at 39.3% on the season. Brown also won on the road against the Patriot League Conference Tournament Champs American in the regular season. American beat Holy Cross three times this season. I do expect this could be close, so I'm spending the extra loot to take the ML.

Close game expected, so getting points is usually how most will side. Largely unknown teams to most. Patriot League tourney was one I followed and Holy Cross is more gritty than good. They also rely heavily on Dudzinksi to do their offensive damage. Brown to me has a few edges. Top 15 rebounding team. Solid defense. Good inside-outside duo with McGonagill and Kuakumensah. Kuakumensah has the size to negate Dudzinski hopefully.

I'm sticking to the original bet, I don't see a reason to go with anything at the half. If Brown turns it over and doesn't play better defense, they have no chance - but I think they'll make a run ... at least maybe give the ML some false hope.
