Hofstra is in a great spot here. They are the older team and have a slightly more balanced offense. Tulane gets almost all of their scoring from 3 players who are a Frosh, Soph, and Jr. Also, Tulane seems to be the better team record wise, but when you look at the schedules they've played I have them both about even with maybe even Hofstra being the better team. Additionally, everyone is on Tulane which in and of itself isn't enough to make a play, but it always helps. I think Upshaw for Hofstra is going to have a good game today against the smaller defenders he will have on him and I think he will be the difference maker. Good luck to those who follow!

Upshaw ended up being the leading scorer in the game with 31 points and he WAS the guy who made Hofstra cover. THIS is a perfect example why you should try to get in the habit only of following peoples plays who have VALID reasons. Many people just post plays or just rattle off some random "reasons", but in reality these people are just chucking darts so TREAD CAREFULLY!

Nice pick today man I was on the other side and lost by 1/2 point haha up big on the day though. Sorry I didnt get back to you on the URI game I was in job orientation all day. Ended up hitting my bomb on URI game which helped im up +16 units on the day and 42 on the week!

I Love the fact that Blake Griffen has developed his jump shot to where he can hit it from the elbow very comfortably. This IS A HUGE DEAL. Now that defenders have to respect his jump shot he literally can blow by all the Power Forwards in the league with his first step, he can jump higher than every Power Forward in the league, and he has a decent set of low post moves that he can use if he needs to be crafty. I think the Clippers can be an actual contender( I didn't think they were before Blake developed his jumper) as long as Blake keep making his jumpers and this is not just a fluke. If Deandre Jordan could make his free throws and develop some offensive moves they REALLY could have a shot at the Western Conference Championship. But either way we just need them to win Tonight!

I would have to agree with you stone...Before griffin was just a dunk machine now he has a lot more offensive presence that is increasingly tough to guard. Good write up.

I am happy the Clippers line moved to -3 or I would be a little worried actually that something was up with this game. The more I think about it the more I think Jordan and Griffen are just wayyy too athletic for the Mavs big men. These two teams haven't played yet this year. The Mavs starting bigs of Nowitski and Blair are good, but they aren't the most athletic in the league by any means. Don't take this as a reason to throw any extra units on this game though 1 is plenty for this type of game. Especially because I am not sure who is going to guard Monta Ellis tonight for LAC and he could go off and end our night single handedly. Let's just hope the Clippers gameplan is to involve the bigs early and often and I like our chances

Was looking at Indiana, but then saw they have 1 guy who can shoot the 3 ball really well and the rest not so much. That sort of scoring distribution doesn't bode well for Indiana. Still think it is going to be a good game either way, but not enough to put any hard earned money on Indiana. Interested to see how Indiana's big man freshman plays against Payne. He is definitely athletic enough to give Payne issues.

I know today had a bunch of games and I have only had 1 pick today. I have received a few messages asking if I could start making more picks because that way you could do parlays or just have more action. The thing is I play as many games that I have thoroughly analyzed and that has good winning potential. The thing is this takes time and effort and so a lot of picks just isn't possible. As a side note in my life the only people I know personally keep their action low and bet big. Either way though to each their own.

If you want though... feel free to give your opinion on a game along with the analysis why and then I will respond if I have anything to add. I won't respond to someone just asking about a game with nothing after because that is just not worth anyones time.

And check back in an hour I am doing analysis now so I might have another pick then!
