Northeastern may be without Quincy Ford, one of the team's top players. Ford was awesome for the Huskies as a sophomore last season, posting per-game averages of 12.2 ppg, 5.8 rpg, and 1.2 spg. This season, Ford has been dealing with back issues that have caused his per-game averages to dip dramatically and forced him to miss Northeastern's last game. Without him, Northeastern's frontcourt situation becomes even more desperate. He may ultimately suit up against the Hoyas, but this is clearly not a healthy player we're dealing with here.

Ford does not play but northeastern wins the game. Either gtown is really bad or northeastern could be a possible cinderella in march.

PLAY #2 seton hall vs Oklahoma 7pm est Seton hall and Oklahoma tip in Brooklyn in the coaches vs cancer classic. Gibbs has been impressive for seton hall avg 17ppg. On the other side of the court, Hield avg 18 pts for the sooners. Oklahoma avg 8 more pts per game and turn the ball over less than seton hall. They also shoot the three a fraction better. Some may say this is a coin flip, I think sooners win by 5. PLAY #2 Oklahoma -1.5

PLAY #3. Georgetown Vs Kansas st 12pm est

I really think gtown rebounds well here. Starks, smith and smith-rivera will be able to penetrate kstate defense and I predict they shoot better as well. If gtown can shut down Foster, this could be a long day for Kansas state. I think gtown wins this one easy

Indy scores more pts but gives up more turnovers. Uconn shoots the ball better from the field and behind the arc. I have yet to watch Indy play this yr, but I would lean uconn. That is my 2 cents on that game and good luck on whatever team you take.

creighton wins every Category here. They average 23 pts more a game. Shoot and rebound better. They should win by more than 20.

PLAY #5. Butler vs ball st 2pm est

butler coming off a ot win vs vandy avg 81 ppg. Dunham/marshall and woods putting up over 10 ppg. Ball st has turner and berry avg over 17 ppg each. Turner is 10-14 behind the arc. Ball st does turn the ball over almost twice that of butler. Although, i think ball st will take care of the ball and cover the pts at home.

its time for me to give credit to the friars. Cotton and company have been really good this year. I picked them to take 7th in the big east, but they look like a top 3 finish right now. La salle is 3-2 this year but 1-4 ats. I'm going with the friars in this one.

PLAY #7. Georgetown vs vcu

Number are similiar for both teams. Vcu has a great defense and gtown guards will have to take care of the ball. I think gtown can control the boards in this game. Smith should be able to dominate the paint. If gtown can get the ball to smith, they should win.

PLAY #8. Depaul vs wichita st

wichita st coming off a final four run will take on depaul tonight, Early has lead the way for wichita st. Depaul has played some good ball this yr with only loss to undefeated s miss. Wichita st has looked terrible in the first half, but has played well in second half. Both teams score 80+ pts per game. Depaul turns the ball over more and witchita st is better on the boards. Witchita st experience will be the difference.

Thoughts on the Marquette line tonight? I didn't see any injuries, Marquette getting 7 seems like a pretty good spot to play Marquette

regarding marq tonight, that is a tough line and this is why: marq has shot the ball terrible in the first 4 games. Ohio st keep them at 19% from the field. Looking at that, asu at home is a great bet, BUT buzz states he is going back to the basics and starting over before this road trip. I want to see what he comes out with and changes before i start betting for or against them

Thanks for the insight. Marquette looked really bad against Ohio State, but I chalked that up to a combo of a bad game/Ohio State is pretty solid. I'll take a pass then.

PLAY #9. Marquette vs cs fullerton

marq plays at cs fullerton at the wooden legacy thurs. Marq coming off a tough loss at asu. The good news is they played better then the first 4 games with thomas and d. Willson finding some confidence. Bad news is mayo is likely out again. I did like the toughness they showed at asu and i think that will carry on to this game. Gardner could be the x factor down low. Marq should control the glass and create more turnovers.

PLAY #10. Iowa vs xavier

iowa coming in avg 93 ppg, wisconsin transfer uthoff looking really good with 11ppg and 6.8 rpg. Iowa has three players avg over 11 ppg. They also rebound very well. Xavier with an excellent fg% at 0.525. Christon lead the x men avg 16ppg. This should be a really good game, but i think iowa's defense and rebounding will be the difference.

PLAY #11. Butler vs Washington st

I think Marshall and Dunham should have a strong game today vs a avg wash st team. Butler score more pts and have less turnovers per game. Butler just needs to control lacy and they should cover. I debated on this game because I think butler is do for a poor game but it will not be today.
