Temple Coming off very hard faught game against rival Penn. They blew and big lead and barely hung on (beating our Cover by the hook). Penn figured out something in that second half and played a lot of zone defense which prevented big man Anthony Lee from gettin the rock inside. I'd like to think 3rd year coach Rob Senderoff's staff saw the flim and will apply that today.

Lets not also forget that Temple plays 6 guys heavy minutes and really only goes 8 deep. Kent St (albeit very young) plays 5-6 guards and really likes to push the pace. With the extra day's rest and coming off the blow out win, so the starters didn't have to play too many minutes, they should be able to wear down Temple in this spot.

Temple is the better and more talented team, but in this high paced game I'll take the deeper team w/ more rest and the 7 points. The game being on ESPN scares me a little because kids seem to dig in even more @ home when they know they are on National TV.

Lets see if this dog can get us going in the right direction.

lv, im loving WVU tomorrow at 1pm against Va Tech. this will be kids first full year running the point for WVU, (got a brain fart right now, transferred from Dayton, can't remember his name, kids a stud). and Va Tech is shit this year.

St marys has a huge home court advantage in Moraga ca. (crowd basically on top of the court) when I went to UCSB I went to a away game there and the place is wild!! they have a very small gym and can be very difficult for a team to adjust to, especially early in the season when players are still getting used to real time tempo.

Stephan Holt is flat out shooter (senior) and can drain the 3 especially at home. If the Gaels can control jake kretzer (zips 3pt threat) this could be a laugher.
Akron should be rattled by the enviroment! Playing 2 units on 1st half -5 and 1 unit on the game -9.5
