Disgusting 0-3 day yesterday, a rarity. Today's plays should be better as their are more lines and game variety. The Plan is to win 3-4 games, starting with these two early plays.


Akron -4 vs Miami-Ohio
Beating Akron at home in February is almost impossible. Akron is also looking forward to a revenge match, after losing to Miami-Ohio in OT.

Georgetown -5.5 at South Florida
Hoyas Offense finally showed some life last week at Syracuse. This more talented team than the bulls are in a must win situation if they want any shot at the NCAA tourney. They must bring their best effort today.

ST Johns +13.5 vs Duke
This game looks way too easy by taking Duke, the entire gambling community is probably on Duke. After seeing an @ss whooping from a bad and struggling Wyoming team last night verse NCAA Tourney contender UNLV, a ST Johns covering is very probable.


Michigan -3.5 vs Minnesota
The wolverines needs this win badly to keep their tourney hope alive. February always brings the best out of home teams, making it very difficult to win as a visitor.

Late Night Add

FresnoState -4 vs Hawaii
Fresno was completely embarrassed the last time they played Hawaii, scoring only 10 points in the 1st half. This team clearly remember that 44-69 lost, and is aching for some serious pay back.

The redhawks comes from a much better conference in the Missouri Valley, while purple eaters plays in a weaker one. Illinois state defensive tough prowess should help them to beat this finesse offensive minded Niagara team.

Just too much points for the Quakers to handle, against an equally talented Ivy league opponent.

The Trojans are getting their groove right in time for the late march madness stretch. Although the huskies already beaten USC, sweeping a good team in the Pac-10 is not an easy task.

11-2 home team vs 2-10 struggling road team. I'll take my chance on the home team even if I get it wrong, I'll lose happy.

Week 8 took a plunge last week, like the Dow and Stock market. First losing week after 7 positive's one. 0-3 for the totals and 3-7 for the late night games. Problem should be easily correctable, stay completely away from totals, and limit myself to 1 pick since my strengths are obviously the early games. Now on to week 9 with better returns in the forecast.

Minnesota -6 vs Northwestern

The gophers will come fired up for this one after two tough road losses. Northwestern has been playing on the edge lately and barely escaping with several narrow wins. It will catch up with them here, as Minnesota attempts to strengthen their bid for the NCAA tourney in front of a crazy home crowd.

Monday's play

Georgetown +2 vs Louisville
The Hoyas needed to win at least two of the remaining three games left against highly ranked teams to have any chance at a NCAA tourney berth. They lost one already to Marquette, now the next two will be determine their season fate. Although Louisville wants this game to attain a higher tourney seed, they will be going against a more motivated team that will be playing this game like it's the 1st round of the NCAA tournament. These kind of upset happens every single year, where a top ranked team goes into a desperate rival house and gets their @ss handed to them. The same should happen here, with a Hoyas upset.

Tough home team, lost already at Tenn-Martin but not an easy team to beat twice in one season.

This game in my opinion is too risky to bet on the point spread because of the home crowd factor, that's why I will stick to the total instead. I really like the over here because Providence can score in bunches against anybody in the land, while at the same time they give up a sh1t load point to all of the top Big East teams.


Indiana State +9 at Wichita State
Indiana state has won 5 games in row, so I'm going to keep riding them while they're hot. Wichita State on the other hand, is coming off a good win against a very good Cleveland State team. I expect them to relax a little here, and Indiana State might be able to flat out win this thing.

The last time Arkansas won was 8 games ago, against an inept 6-23 Florida Atlantic team. I think this team has already given up on the season and will continue to struggle against UNT.

Cornell already clinched the ivy league division so they really have no motivation for this game. Darmouth on the other hand has been consistent playing well, and are very motivated to steal a win from the Ivy League division leader.

Brown +7 at Princeton
Like Brown for the simple fact that they already beaten Princeton 61-43. Plus Princeton is on a mini slump.

Bullsh1t Ivy League day yesterday, will try to and respond with 8 winning plays today starting with these one.

Notre Dame +11.5 at Uconn
I know the fighting Irish is probably the worst to bet on ATS wise on 6-15 for the season. I just can't pass up on a double-digit dog fighting for their tournament berth lives.

Oklahoma -9 at Texas Tech
Looks for the sooners to pound their frustration on the Red Raiders. Blake Griffin should be back for this one too.

Flyers needs this win at home to better position their conference tournament seeding. Plus Dayton undefeated at home.

Georgia state is playing very good basketball in the last 8 games and will put up a valiant effort against division leader VCU.

Old Dominion +5 at Northeastern
Old Dominion should be more motivated for this rematch battle after an embarrassed thumping 42-58 lost at home to Northeastern.

Wyoming -1 at Airforce
Air force has lost 14 straight games. I don't think this team can psychologically recover from that, and will continue to lose all of their remaining games this season.

I just going on a gut feeling that Pitts hasn't fully recovered from that very bad loss to Providence. If Seton Hall can do the same thing that Providence did by getting the home Crowd into this game early, this will be an interesting game for Pitt.

Troy -2.5 vs South Alabama
Troy is just playing great basketball right now and they've already beaten South Alabama 94-70 earlier this season. Don't see bama stealing this one on the road.

Week 9 was a very good after being down -4.50 in Week 8. Finished strong on Saturday going 7-2-1 to finished week 9 with a positive +6.30. Week 10 will be the final week of the College basketball regular season. There will be many interesting games and must wins as the bubble teams for the an NCAA at-large bid will be going all out. Smaller conference teams will also bring their best to position themselves for an NIT spot. Going to fall way short of my 60% goal for the regular season. The new goal now is to wrap this make it or break it season thread with 20 plus regular season winners over .500. Have 18 full games winner already, so week 10 task should be easy.
