i don't know how anyone can criticize him. first of all, i doubt anyone in this thread could make 50+ plays and be hitting 65%. so, if you can't do better, shut up. picks that hit at that percentage are normally plays you'd have to pay to get, and here they are for free in a forum.

that brings me to my next point. i have seen people a few times who seem convinced he's sharing plays he's paid to get. first of all, based on his lone lengthy post, i doubt that is true. secondly, even if he were paying for the plays, he'd be sharing them with us for absolutely free! bottom line, if you've been following him you're making money, and owe him nothing but gratitude.

I sincerely hope The Machine comes back. Not because I need him, although he is very good, but because he brings a LOT to this board.

He post winners and he does not need to yap about it for 600 post. Some guys want it the other guys way, some want it The Machine's way, and some want it both ways.

I just felt a need to defend a quality board member that was called out by the BOARD BULLY.

To criticize a guy that is hitting 65% is simply outrageous.

So Machine, come back. I have said what I have to say to that other group that really thinks they got it going. Maybe tomorrow we'll see some forthright bet amounts to see if they are really as good as they think they are.

I try to stay out of the bantering, but I have to add my 2 or 3 cents here. Bottom line is, the Machine has been awesome, has won us a ton. There are some obvious kids on these threads (or grown men/women who act like friggin kids) with egos and zero common sense. Speaking for myself here, this thread and many others are extremely helpful - why rock the boat the Machine has built and continues to sail straight and always afloat? For all of you idiots that have brains the size of pinballs, go to myspace or some other kiddie forum that could care less about the seriousness of our game here. Lets remember what we are all here for - to win and to share our experience on how to win. Not to show who can shout the loudest and who's shoe size is the largest. Hey Machine, I think you are a great capper and you would bring alot to this board by keeping up what u are doing. I don't know how this started, or who is right and who is wrong, but I think everyone should bury the hachet and quit arguing who is better at who and capping and who belongs to what thread. Seriously, what's with the factioning? We have one goal with this forum and that's to share ideas and bust the books. I think we all differ from Dexter in that you won't be needed or missed in this forum. Don't stop posting just because somone tells you to. You just gave him want he wanted.

Another thing is why don't we just post and read the threads you like. I personally are not a part of any faction and open to all ideas of beating the books. Bash me, I don't care. Please don't bash the Marine Corps. I was never a Marine, but my step-brother was and died in Iraq in 2005. Funny thing, he used to write me letters telling me who I should bet on.

Concerning Devil Dog or any other Marine poster, I'm all for anyone bashing them personally--but please leave their institution out of it.

I'm going to keep posting because I love capping and gambling. None of this is about me, I'm not even as close to as good as some of you think (or claim) that I am.

Also, please stop PM'ing me asking for advice, I don't provide advice. I don't want to get involved in someone else's fortunes.

Final note: for those of you who think I use a service...I wish. My life would be alot easier if I didn't have to spend so much time capping. But I never found one that was better than what I could do on my own.

This goes out to everyone who has been acting stupid on this board--STAY FOCUSED ON THE MISSION!!! It doesn't matter if you purchase picks and post them on here -as long as they win--it doesn't matter if you have the ability to cap games and post them on here--as long as they win--it doesn't matter if you bet $10.00 a game or $1000.00-as long as you win. all i know is i have been started here 5-6 days ago, and everybody in this forum was pointing me to picks from "football jesus" or "Machine", and so far , the machine has been ok, but not spectaclular,

jesus free picks, have been 5-2 , so between the two I have broke even, the machine is human, and will lose, but as i said i will check it out another weeks and see how it goes.
