The Vols are undefeated at home. I promise you these guys and the fans want to beat Memphis. You mean to tell me they beat Wichita at home but can't beat Memphis? Shots will fall at home as they often do for most teams. Memphis without one of their 2 best players, first road game, and Adonis Thomas has been slumping recently.

What could possibly put you on Memphis?

One, I'm old and antiquated and made the judgement before knowing Black was DEFINITIELY out. Are you sure? Second, good bad or indifferent I bet by what I see. Tenn against anyone that cared to play D has been shut down. Memphis can, question is will they? I'll give you Memphis is not one of my favorite teams to wager on but I've yet to see anything to convince on Tenn either.

Your record speaks for itself. I am doing quite well myself (so far). Biff who I respect is on Memphis as well. So maybe I'm "Joe public" with regard to the line movement. Haven't posted real play yet so just absorbing good info. I'd say GL but well you know.

Oh, and FWIW (not too old fashioned) I looked at the first real road test 180. I looked at Tenn and saw a team that's been what we've seen of has been predominantly at home and if that's the best then??? I will give you Wright State though.

Rankings ... 274th PPG, 315th APG, 215th FG%. OUCH. those are naughty bad numbers.

Just couldn't stop myself. I had Mem -4/5 here. Lot of smart people disagree so with respect I scaled back. Ended up with +2.5 1x.

Johnny I owe you one here. This wasn't so much a bad bet as it was a misunderstanding of the homecourt ref'ing. I won't belabor the phantom fouls but check the differential and Tenn % from the line quranteed way above avg. Shame on me as I turned a 5 star Madison play Mem straight into a 1x Mem and U 1H. Oh my lord with .05 to go yet another phantom. This is borderline ridiculous. You can go to the bank that any team with any semblance of athleticism and D and Tenn will struggle to get 50. I was gonna say neutral court but I really meant neutral ref'ing Mem would be up 20 here.

I risked 2.2 units on Parlays and 7 units on straight bets for 9.20 total units.

I won back 5.65 units for a loss of 3.55 units.

If I didn't do the parlays the loss would have been only 1.35 units. However, in the past, on winning nights, I feel I won enough to justify the parlays and makes for a potential huge payout and makes things a bit more exciting.
