Hahaha, wow Papa Tony's you definitely know where I'm from, yes Papa Tony's is now Josepi's and has been for about 5 years. Cedar Groves football team is good, it was my younger brother that won them the state championship against Hoboken 3 years ago. To bad he is an even bigger waste of talent then I am.

Who knows and to be honest don't expect this thread to make it to the all-star break. You see I am very lazy, so follow this thread while its still around, I'd say if I make it to the 3rd week keeping up with this that would be a miracle.

I like the spurs tommorrow night at Portland. I would take the spurs ML for the 1st and 2nd quarters. The spurs played 3 times against the blazers in 2007-08 season. In 12 quarters, the spurs outscored the blazers in 10 of those quarters. There definite matchup problems for the blazers in this game. The blazers are without Oden, Webster and LaFrentz for this game. The spurs present the blazers with matchup problems in this game. Blake cannot cover Parker and Przybilla cannot cover Duncan.

YOu should take a look at my posts on 1st quarter team totals. I am 4-0 on the season. Tonite I had 76ers team total over 27 and Mavericks team total under 24.5. 76ers scored 35 points in 1st quarter and the mavericks only scored 16. I won both 1st quarter team totals by 8 points. If I was good at any particular handicapping, it would be team totals. I was 80-25 in 07-08 season.

Yea you definitely crush all of these odd bets, and to be honest I have no idea how you do it. Years ago I used to take everything first team to score 20 first half first quarter, but you can't take all of that stuff and win. I think my limits on first quarter bets are 500, maybe I will start to put 500 on all of your plays for fun, you are pretty good at them.

Sorry wish I could give you some early thoughts but the way a cap is all based on action who's got the action and how much do they have the action for. Then there is whole big math formula that not many people would understand, that spits out value back to me and we decide whether it is play or no play. I will post as soon as I can check about 30min before gametime. I will take an early look and let you know what I think we are going to be looking at though.

Ok gave it a quick look and this is not a play but due to certain bettor tendencies I have a feeling that Dallas +3.5 will be a play tommorrow. I see this line going up as high as +5. Also I am hitting right around 63% right now over my last 1000 plays, right now I am 11-2 in NBA which is way above 63%, probably not the best time to tail me, because the law of averages says I'm due to be wrong. I'm not saying the plays aren't good but its not HAMMER TIME yet. Wait until you see me have a couple even days or even a losing day. Then you drop the HAMMER on my plays and you will be richly rewarded.

It always seems when guys do season long threads with picks they get off to great starts but they usually end up deep in the hole. I hope this kid has a solid year though but odds are tough he does.

Well JJGold this is very true for NFL for the first 4 weeks, the suckers win cause well the lines are soft. This is why I usually lose the first 4 weeks of NFL. For basketball and baseball its a little bit different, the suckers never win, they consistently lose. If you notice many of my plays seem like they have no chance of winning, ie. Memphis and Under last night. I will not stay this hot but I will finish above 60%, I promise you that.

celtics team total over 22 1st quarter

I really like this play. Celtics will score 25 plus points in 1st quarter. The rockets defense has been good against teams like the twolves, clippers, grizzlies because those teams do not have a good half court set offense. The rockets defense was dismal against the warriors, suns, mavericks, hornets and celtics. THe rockets gave up a lot of points in the 1st quarter of games (07-08 season) against those teams. Take a look at how the suns, mavs and warriors fared against the rockets in the 1st quarter.

I also like Celtics team total over 43.5 1st half

I will watch it but still can't bring myself to take it, maybe I will just set up an account for you put 5k in it, and you just take all your plays for me for 500.

I guess I kind of do like your play because the Celtics are definitely on my radar tonight to win outright. Same goes for the Nets, I will let everyone know when and if these become official.

If you play the Nets and have time, please explain. I'm a nets "fan" (moreso live in jersey also and follow them) so your reasoning would probably help me a lot this season.
