Yeah, lol. They put a "team" out there that never plays together, play under an entirely different set of rules, have a couple warm up exhibitions, and then beat the best teams in the world relying solely on their superior talent. The rest of the world absolutely sucks at basketball, but I guess you wouldn't be competent enough to understand.

They can't but you have to take the pointspread into account. Spain was +23 in the Gold Medal game in 08. If the line is similar if they meet for the Gold again POUND Spain. They have a huge size edge, that makes up for it. I'm not saying I'd bet Spain as a Pick EM, but with 20ish points or at better than +1000 I like

I dont think that spain will ever beat the usa again.. no bench at all.. Marc Gasol is ok but the usa has way to much speed. As much as its an advantage for spain to have skillid big guys, it also kills spain when usa gets out and runs. Usa is laying the ball in while spains bigs are just getting across half court.. It all comes down to the benches and it isnt even close

not to mention the refs are strict as hell; in fiba, compared to NBA where u can take 4-5 steps and never get called for traveling

i think they are still very much adjusting to that as well

USA has Love, Chandler, and Davis.

Spain has Gasol, Gasol, and Ibaka (who isn't Spainish, but got Spanish citizenship in order to play for Spain)
