agreed. When Boston is on these b2b's on the road it shows itself early in the games .. also prevents a backdoor cover when the full game is around 6,7, or higher. It came close in Denver the other night in the 4th Q. Boston came very VERY close to a backdoor after Denver was in total control throughout.

hit the 1st quarter. Even when Boston has been covering these games on the road (4-3 on this trip), they don't do very well early on. They did cover the 1st yesterday but were down at the half. The other night vs ATL they were down at the half. against the clips they were down at the half , I think they were down to GS early too - all games they eventually won. On b2b's they were down to SAC as well.

Hit 1st Q and if that doesnt come through double-up on 2nd Q as Philly has been a 2nd quarter covering machine most of the year because of their strong bench. Philly started like shit vs the Knicks and i think Doug Collins will have them start the game better this time around (even if they dont end up covering the full game)

Boston is an experienced team that paces themselves. They know when to turn it on and when not to. On a b2b Philly is a good bet 1st Q then 2nd Q

no one's going with the revenge factor here? the celtics just got destroyed by the sixers 2 weeks ago and shot dreadfully. teams do not forget those losses.
