Analysis (and One Correction)
After a closer review of the picks tally, the W/L total is actually 31-21-2. Here's a breakdown by halves:

1st Half
24-11-1 69%

2nd Half
7-10-1 44%

1st Half vs. 2nd Half
I probably should lay off the 2nd half picks somewhat. Unless of course, there's something of significant value.

Patterns
Up to this point in the season, several teams have established a pattern. How the lines acclimatize remains to be seen. I've also noticed that I have a better % rate with the early games vs. the later games (usually West Coast teams). The units wagered will be adjusted accordingly.

Here's hoping for an equally successful (if not better) season Part Two.

All-Star Game First-Half Lean B4 Placing Pre-Tip-Off Pick Tomorrow Morning
East vs. West
Its a home game for the East, so the LeBron Howard liner will have some steam out of dock against a supposedly-swell West team. Embedded with Laker and Clipper mariners who have sailed their way to the Florida coast on wavy waters, the West team has a ways to go before the Eastern Equinox. I'm looking to place multiple units on the East team if the 1st half line navigates in their favor to -1.

As was the case, the books opened with an East -1 line. Now, its at -2. Hmmm...

East vs. West (1st Half): East -2, 1.5 units
The NBA All-Star game = a score-fest. The West's Kobe Bryant has been in a slump the last couple of games. Will that slump continue on what will essentially be his fourth road game in a week? Based on recent 1st half picks, seems to me that the West is contributing players who haven't scored with as much ferocity as their East counterparts.
The Conferences have traded victories in each of the last six seasons. If that pattern holds, its the East's turn to win. Would have gone with a higher 1st half unit pick if the line stayed at -1, but I'll still play it for 1.5 units.

Downward movement on o/u line within the hour (was 142.5). Money is coming in predicting a score-fest under 142. I'll buy that...before it gets any lower perhaps back to the opening line of 141.

Nice to know that some books are now showing 1st half -2.5 lines. Any thoughts anyone before tip-off? Being a movie buff, I'll be flipping the channels between the game and the Oscars. Maybe next year I'll lay down some Academy Award picks.

2nd half stats clearly favor one team over the other in this one. But with key injuries on both sides, it remains to be seen who will really have the advantage.

OK, the latest from the NBA world of tweets...Kobe will more than likely play tonight vs. MIN. Since there's no current info on the condition of key Wolves player, KLove, then I gotta assume he'll also play. The ats has reacted accordingly up a notch at -3. The Laker show has dominated this series not having lost to the Wolves in almost five years.

OKC @ ATL (1st Half): O 96.5, 1 Unit
OKC scores well enough to reach 50 pts per 1st half a game. But can ATL get a minimum of 47 in this game w/o the prospect of JJohnson? Well, a quick glance at the stats shows that on avg., OKC allows almost as many points in the 1st half as they themselves score. ATL is tough at home, while OKC is one of the worst teams in: turnovers, defensive rebounding, and opponent field-goal attempts.

1st Half Stats (last three games vs. other opponents): MIL 57.3, ORL 43.0
Of the last three games these two teams have played each other this season, ORL has had the lead at the half once - and that was by only one freakin' point! So what the heck gives, this business of designating ORL the fav by 5.5? Injuries? Couldn't find anything significant. OK, so ORL has won all three games after 2nd half triumphs. But if I were a Buck, I'd be saying, "Hey, this is our fourth and last game against this team this season. We know them. Lets use what we know to avoid getting swept!"
