Watching ESPN right now and their developing-breaking story is that the Lakers are pushing hard to get both Paul and Howard. Broussard is reporting this. If this is true, you can pretty much give the Lakers their rings for the next two years.

#3Lakers reported to wanting to acquire Paul and Howard...
Anyone on Lakers is fair game besides Kobe. Is the NBA ever going to step in and stop these massive super teams? Whore shit. Ruining the product even more to be honest.

I cant see these guys will get a ring this year if Lakers gets their way as these thing takes time for a championship team to form; especially with a new coach as well.Comment -

#15Everyone not named Kobe is expendable on the Lakers. If this does happen, NBA might as well contract 2-4 teams. All the superstars are going to team up on a few teams. You know if Dwight and Paul go to LA, that Chicago will probably pull a top 20 player within the next year or two. NBA is turning into an Arms Race.Comment -

#17despite Mitch Kupchak's no comment, but inside source confirmed a deal is in the making
LA want to send Gasol to New Orleans for Paul, and in a separate deal, send Bynum & Odom to Orlando for Howard + Hedo Turkoglu's contract.
but New Orleans want Andrew Bynum + 1 future pick for Paul , the news also confirm both Howard and Paul really want to be a lakers and push their agents to work on the deal.
In a separate report, D. Will too want to be a Lakers, so it possible that the Nets could involve in this deal.Comment -

#19So they would be getting rid of Odom, Gasol and Bynum + others for 2 players. Miami still better and Kobe is aging. Will be interesting to see.Comment -

#26Paul, Kobe, and Howard make a more complete team than 3 perimeter players trying to establish who the leader is. Paul can throw oops to Howard or drain 3's if they try to double team Howard. Paul can dribble drive and collapse defenses or kick it out to Kobe who would be better off throwing ally oops to Howard. With Howard down low you can get away with all kinds of cheating on defense. Howard controls the lane like no other player in the NBA at this time. The Lakers would sweep the playoffs without anyone even staying within 20 points of them.Comment -

#30Lets make it clear that Kupchak runs everything through Bryant.
Bryant has been running the lakers organization for a decade.
He gave the go ahead on Mike Brown.
He told them that either he leaves or shaq does.
He got the trade for Pau Gasol.
Nothing is done without Bryant's consent.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -
