I've got some basketball for today. Yesterday I had a couple of picks I tweeted and I even thought I posted on here, but I forgot to press the send button!!! That's what happens when you're in a hurry!

Germany Bundesliga

Telekom Bonn - Brose Baskets
Pick: Brose Baskets -7.5 @ 1.90

Second place Bonn takes on first place Brose Baskets today. Brose is IMO a much better team and a scoring machine. Bonn is good but I don't know if they can keep hold the fort against Brose.

Greece A1

Olympiakos - Peristeri
Pick: Peristeri +20 @ 1.90

OK Olympiakos is a much better team, but they've been kind of struggling to find themselves and Peristeri is not all that bad. I'll take the heavy 20 points and see what happens.


Italy Lega 1

Milano - Monepaschi Siena
Pick: Siena +1.5 @ 1.90

Milano picked up 3 good players over the summer but they haven't been playing up to par. Siena should take care of business even in Milano.


Spanish ACB

Gran Canaria - Bilbao
Pick: Bilbao +1.5 @ 1.90

Valencia - Barcelona
Pick: Barcelona -6.5 @ 1.90

Barcelona has been on fire and I will trust them again today. Now if this is the day they don't take care of their opponent by 15-15 points like they usually do then so be it.

This had to be my worst day in a long time.
I was really disappointed because apart from the Olympiakos game the others could've gone my way. Barcelona was probably the most disappointing loss as they just sat back in the 4th quarter losing it 23-14 and still won by 5! Milano also ran up the score in the last minute of the game so it was closer than the final score suggests. Anyway, got to move on. Hopefully next time will be better.

Olympiakos at home is always to be respected, but they are not the same team as they were in the previous years. They're still good, but I think they are not as strong. Nancy on the other hand has been impressive. A 9 point advantage is not bad and I'll take it.

CSKA Mosco - Unicaja
Pick: CSKA Moscow -15.5 @ 1.90

If CSKA can beat Panathinaikos at home (even in overtime) then they are a powerhouse. I have been very impressed with them this year and they are one of the strongest teams in the Euroleague.

It's still early so if I change my mind or have anything to add I might do so.

Hopefully I can get back to winning today.

I was thinking about making it a play myself, but it's the -8.5 points for Zalgiris in an away game that put me off. KK Zagreb has a home court that probably will not be that difficult for the other teams to pass through that's for sure.

CSKA had a 28-12 3rd quarter and was @ -23.5 on live betting and then they go and have a total meltdown and win only by 11. That's what pisses me off. They're a team that can easily have won this by over 20 points.

I guess I'm officially on a losing streak!

I'm going with two teams that need wins tonight and that's Real Madrid and Milano. They should be serious in these games and not let up if they don't want to have trouble in their divisions.

I can't believe the meltdowns happening in the Euroleague this year!
I stayed away from Barcelona tonight because I was afraid they would do it again. And they did! Barca was up 48-61 at the end of the 3rd quarter and then almost lost the game in the final seconds losing the 4th quarter by a score of 18-9! I was thinking to myself that it was a good thing I stayed away from this game...

Then I was watching the Brose - Panathinaikos game and zapping between the Real & Milano games. I pretty much thought the Real & Milano games were pretty much in the bag so I watched the Brose - Panathinaikos game because it was a thriller to the end. Then I went to check the final scores and saw that Milano had lost! The score was 56-39 in their favor at the end of the 3rd period. Then they lost the 4th period by a score of 9-30!!! They blew a 17 point lead and lost the game by 4! I really don't know what to say. You need to be a fortune teller with some of these games.

Maccabi cannot cover big spreads this year. I was expecting a good game, considering that this team plays 3 games a weak, but anyway.
Partizan was losing 63-50 and there was 5 minutes to go.
Armani just didn't play anything, something like CSKA the day before. The 63-50 was 63-67 believe it or not! Final score 65-69. Unreal or Rigged? I got this, but is was obviously a tremendous meltdown.

Panathinaikos has had a heavy schedule and is coming off an upset loss against Kavala last week. Still they are the best team in Greece, reigning European Champions and one of the top 5 in Europe in my opinion.

KK started off as a team that everyone thought would be a mat to wipe their shoes on, but has been a pleasant surprise. They have hopes of advancing too.

They've got to They've got to come back. Seen it too many times this year in Euroleague with teams blowing huge leads.. Maybe +10.5 is a chance for some profit on a quality team...
