You know, because LOLMcWinsey published that allegation in a public forum, even one as trivial as a gambling forum, GG could pursue him legally for defamation. Now, GG would have to prove he was damaged in some monetary way, which would be a big hurdle, but he could still pursue this claim because it satisfies all the factors necessary for a case of defamation. At the very least, GG might want to consider it because he could make life very difficult for McWinsey and I know that they do not seem to like each other.

McWinsey, unless you know such allegations are absolutely true, in which case you would have a great defense, I would recommend that you refrain from making such allegations in a public manner in the future.

However, in addition to what you mention, if GG was using that Golden Greek name as a business venture, perhaps as a trade name for example, he could find an attorney somewhere to take the case. If GG was making money off the Golden Greek name, and McWinsey's comment hurt that business venture, then that comment could really be actionable.

In addition, as you mention, if it was well known who GG was, then the fact that Mcwinnsey published that allegation in public is also actionable and I can send you the case law to back that statement up if you are interested. I find the issue pretty interesting. I think it would be a much better case if GG was using the Golden Greek name in business somehow, because all he would need to show is a pecuniary loss from McWinsey's comment for the damages component required to prove defamation.
