but GG has the winnings to make these plays and live with them losing (the under should have hit... teams gave up layups in the last 3 minutes )

these are the kind of losses you have to live with when you tail a capper. Luckily I didnt have the balls to follow tonights 40 unit plays. I have had it tough when following cappers on these boards though.

I usually use my own hunches on games which is decent, but after some success, I started paying attention to the plays of SJ and GG. Bad news for me though, is that Ive followed SJ twice - which turned out to be his only two losses as of late, and followed GG once for a loss... Why can I never follow them when they are on these "rolls" that I hear of, so that I can afford to absorb these losses

We understand the circumentances when we follow cappers on message forums, nothing is guaranteed in gambling. Kid, what do you want from him. Do you expect him to hit 100% of his bets? GG isn't invincible, he has days where he loses. But he definitely wins more than he loses.

However, I personally believe that the Bulls have been overpriced throughout the playoffs and the Heat have been underpriced.

I've also noticed that goldengreek took the points here, and he laid big juice(i think about -140) to take OKC moneyline last night. That to me is the sign of a lazy capper. In both conference finals so far and every single game of the conference semifinals there has NOT ONCE been margin of victory that would've covered an underdog spread, every game the dog covered they have won outright. That is 28 games!!!! yet gg is still taking underdog points and ML favorites!! taking underdog points has been wasting a ton of value for weeks and paying for ML favorites has been just as bad

that is true. the bulls have been way overpriced. they just arent that good. they had no competition the first two rounds. actually the east in itself is pretty crappy.

anyone who blindly follows anyone will never understand the point of it all. There is no easy way out. In order to get experience with gambling you have to suffer some big losses sometimes, as well as some big wins. The losses teach you a lot more than any win ever will. Whether GG is chasing or not, he has a solid record that gives him the right to make his picks on whatever angle he wants to use, and still retain his credibility. He has a lot more wins than he has losses which is much more than you can say for most people on this site. Maybe he is being stubborn in these series, but that same mentality got him to where he is record wise. He is not telling anyone to follow him with a gun to their head, but some people who unload all they have on a 20 star pick will learn through this experience that nothing is quite that easy, and money management is the only way to ensure your odds stay above 51/49 in favor of the books on each bet.

I like your honesty here. You've made some good points, especially about underdog points & fav MLs. Maybe you've bashed GG a bit & pissed people off, but it's good to have some debate, if only to make someone think twice before placing huge bets they shouldn't. GG is one of the best cappers on the forum & is able to absorb 40 unit hits but not many guys can. It's comes down to managing risk.

None of us know what's gonna happen, we can argue about and analyse games while the books go about getting enough losing bets to pay for the winners & taking the juice.

The first quarter had a combined 33 points, so the UNDER was there. I am not sure what happened to the defense to allow 50 point quarters the rest of the way.

Going into the 4th, the Bulls are down 3, so in my mind, both bets were not bad choices. At the end of the day, we are dealing with humans & relying on them to make or break it for us. Sometimes it goes our way, other times it doesn't.

Regardless, I would make both bets again & don't regret it at all. I look forward to what you have in store tonight Greek, as I think we will be seeing each other at the pay window.

if people just blindly tail him and go big when he makes a bigger play, and they lose their BR tailing... that is on them, if he is a consistent winner and you have a much smaller BR, then tail small and build your BR up slowly.
