Game 1, dallas' most lethal shooter after dirk, peja was 1-8, durant went absolutely nuts one of his best games of the playoffs, durant and westbrook got to line more times than the entire dallas team, Ibaka had one of his best offensive games of the playoffs YET Dallas still won by 9.



lol Dallas only lost by 6, but when Dallas when by 9 you didn't call that domination? makes sense. anyways......Harden has a career game with 23 points, westbrook shoots nearly 50% from the field, the thunder as a team shoot 56%, Dallas shoots 13% less from the field including 33% from 3, Terry gets held to single figures on 33% shooting YET Dallas only lost by 6.



In game 3, Dirk shot 33% his lowest FG% of the entire playoffs, Terry shot 25% his lowest FG% of the entire playoffs, their 2 most prolific scorers combined to shoot under 30% YET they still win by 6, Barea had 4 points, Dirk had 7 turnovers another playoff high YET they still win by 6.

If I had told you before game 3 that you would get under 30% shooting from Dirk and Terry, and Barea would have 4 points you would've thought Dallas got blown out. But they didn't, thats how good they are.


Now are my rationalizations more important than yours? No of course not just showing you that if you decide to cherry pick all of the stats and try to justify a team "should've" won the game it works both ways and means nothing

Point still stands: OKC isn't "obviously overmatched." I think Dallas is better, more experienced and will advance, but it's hyperbolic to say this is a lopsided series.
