Wow , no bullshit , but i have been saying the same thing word for word for years! Iv always said that MJ did more w/ less than anyone ... ever ... in any sport! From the time he came in the league , until 98' , he was the best ever at what he did. Nobody ever played the sport like that before and ive seen the old tape on Oscar , Wilt etc. One other thing that i always mention is who he beat. Jordan beat the best , when the game was at its best. The best basketball was played from 76'-98 imho and 23 beat more great players than anyone. Seriously just take a few minutes and look at who he beat ... in their prime! The Lakers , Celtics , Pistons , Suns , Rockets , Sonics , Jazz , Knicks , Heat , Pacers , Magic ( w/ Shaq i might add ) , Trailblazers , Cavs. He beat everyone from Magic , Larry , Shaq , Malone , Stockton , Ewing , Miller , Barkley , Drexler , Hakeem , Payton , Kemp , KJ , Zo' , LJ. I could go on and on for hours , he beat the best defenders , when defense meant something. Not to mention the fact the if he wasnt the best perimiter defender and was 2nd right behind Pip. I remember watching the Bulls and at times MJ was the only O option out there. People forget that there were times when he played w/ one of the big 3 , Rodman and Harper. None of which wanted any part of the O load. If MJ wasnt on that was it and i love Pip. I challenge anyone out there to name me one sports figure that did more w/ less. Look at Hockey , 90% of people would say W.G. was the greatest of all time , i wouldnt be one of those btw. Look at all the talent he had around him , its not even funny , he had 5 of the top 20 players in the league on his team. Same deal w/ Russell , Laker/Celts teams , The Habs all had great talent on those teams , the Packers/Steelers/Cowboys teams etc. When you talk about the greatest athletes of all time my list would go something like this 1) 45 , 2) no on b/c MJ was to great , 3)Walker Smith jr.

Greek, I follow and respect your picks. I am a Dallas fan and I think they take this one as OKC defense is suspect and their offense is limited to Westbrook and Durant and some Harden. OKC had a softer road to the finals, depleted Denver team and then Memphis, where Dallas had to beat Portland and Lakers. I think Dallas is a better team and they take the series and sets the tone tonight.

The only thing stopping me from going big chunk on Dallas series is Russell Westbrook. Kidd can't stop him by himself, he'll need help. JJ Barea is not tall enough, Cory Brewer or Deshaun Stevenson might be able to slow him down. But again, if its a shootout Dallas wins too much firepower Terry, Peja, Barea, and if its a grinding game, Dallas wins as well. They got NOWITZKIIII

Plain and simple... Dallas wont be in "basketball mode"
Wayyyyy to much time off and pating themselves on the back for beating the Lakers and getting jerked off by the media

Look at the playoffs this year alone where teams have comeoff no rest vs teams who had rest

Atlanta had one day off and came in and won S/U in Chicago Game 1 ( who had 5 days off )

The Bulls blew out Miami coming off 2 days rest after Miami had 5 days off and had a similar ( to dallas ) emotional win over Boston

And the most similar one: Memphis with one day off after beating the spurs went into OK CITY ( with 5 days off ) Won straight up against Ok city

Its not that easy to turn the switch on and off !!!

Ok city just went thru a 7 game series and are in tune and still in "playoff basketball " mode
Dallas has been sitting on their ass for 10 days.


I also have to dissagree with you assesment on who had the most difficult path

Portland has a crippled Brandon Roy and had to adjust to Gerald Wallace being in the line up
The lakers were a shell of their former self.. Had issues geyying past a one man team in New Orleans. They has internal issues , some teamate fuking Pau's g/f or wife ( ??).. The "selfish and trust issues"

Memphis was always a better team then their record...They were an "8" seed that beat the team with the best record in basketball ! Denver after the trade became the deepest 1-12 team in the nba.. I dont get the "depleted" denver team statement.

Ok city was a Pau Gasol tip in from beating the Lakers last yr

I do have OKCITY to win the west at + 800...that was before the playoffs started

Had I not I might have taken Dallas to win this series ( but not at - 250 )

I think Dallas wins this series in 7.... but I dont think they cover tonight.. and I think they may actually lose tonight

honestly i have been a huge critic of this guy for a number of years. but he has been doing unbelievable in baseball and all that while playing alot of games and he has been doing well in NBA playoffs.


hard to go against him in NBA and MLB. guy is probably the best free capper on the net.



and trust me i give this guy shit all the time for the last 3 years.
