Lakers won't care about this game as much as Dallas. They have been talking about making a statement vs the Lakers for over a week now. LA doesn't care about the regular season and the Mavericks are the perennial regular season champs. I say this game goes down to the wire, Mavericks cover.

For LA, it's about that time. Seven straight wins and 9 of 10 overall. To say a rested defending NBA championship team "won't care" about sending a message right before the playoffs start on their home court against a Dallas squad that just played last night....

I just think Dallas will care more, at least enough to keep it close late. Even down 10, if you can get +7, you'd be completely live. Dallas has only lost by 7+ once in their last ten meetings.

in their last 33 games this season too dallas has lost only 7 games and the max loss was by 6 pts !!

Believe me BOTH teams care about this game so neither team has a motivational edge. It will all come down to talent and the talent gap between these two teams is the narrowest it has ever been. That said, I would pass on ML as I am much more confident in the +6.5.

I love the Lake Show, but they will come out unmotivated and Kobe will be pissed off lol. The Mavericks are really good this year and will be put on Display tonight.Tyson Chandler will be a factor if he can be productive in the paint. I like Dallas +6.5

The Lakers should win and cover. They're rested while the Mavs played last night (and nearly blew a 16 point fourth quarter lead).

Too much size for Dallas to handle.

Dallas should cover this number. When it all comes down to it, LA will get the win. But Dallas will put up a good fight and it should come down to the final minutes.
