The fact of the matter is, the NBA is easier to predict season-wise, while the NFL is easier to predict per game. See the difference? With the NBA, you can give pretty accurate season predictions compared to the NFL (For example, odds 2 great NBA teams make playoffs vs. 2 great NFL teams make playoffs, much better odds for NBA), but on a per-game basis, NFL wins, games just are more meaningful.
That's why I excelled at capping the NFL. Nonetheless, a lot of my future bets for the NBA still look strong.
Does this mean I officially admit I suck at NBA Capping and can't win in the NBA? F*uck no. Everyone knows how many bad beats I had. I lost 10 times as many close bets as I won. I was always on the right side but my team would lose at the very end. And so on. Bad beat after bad beat. I have more knowledge on the NBA than anyone on these forums.
But I can't comeback, I'm out of units. This is not fantasy money/units that come out of thin air. This is real money guys. Each unit is worth more than a grand and I've lost nearly half of my yearly paycheck these past 3 weeks. No more betting.

A few things. The first. Losing 300 units in three different threads officially DOES mean you suck at NBA capping. Your ATS picks were 41%. That defines sucking.
300 units dude. You suck. Embrace it.
And it is laughable that you think you know anything about the NBA. I can count 4-5 times where you surprised that player A or player B was not playing in a game, or was injured. You were clueless and it showed.
Amateurs bet Teasers in the NBA. Amateurs make goofy parlay bets. Amateurs chase. Amateurs make emotional picks. There is nothing about your NBA thread that would make anyone here think you know what you are doing. Nothing.

Money management would not have helped him.
He was hitting at a 41% ATS clip.

Also helpful, the ability to pick a winner.

If with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?

Considering I had more winning days than losing days, and the reason I lost so much is because I lost on the days I bet the most and if I had risked the same amount everyday I'd be winning...Philly is spot on for this thread

Yeah since I only bet ATS...
This as stupid as an argument as claiming Lakers have sucked over the past few years and then displaying their record against the Bobcats to prove your point (ok maybe not that stupid, but the flaw in the argument is the same)

Fact: You have lost three seperate bankrolls in less than a month
Fact: You were well below 50% ATS
The idea that you would have been OK except that your big bets lost is clearly flawed. Your big bets were chase bets i.e. placed when you were already losing.
You may well still have delusional fantasies about your betting abilities but that is what they are, fantasies.
Go and buy "Sharp Sports Betting" or "Conquering Risk" and read up on sound bankroll management. If you do not expand your knowledge and understanding of the numbers behind the bets you make you will continue to lose. If you cannot be more disciplined, you will continue to lose despite having more knowledge.

They are not "bankroll management books". They are books that just might get it into your wooden head that your goofy teasers make no sense, that taking a team +1 or +1.5 in the NBA rarely makes sense and that parlays that do not pay true odds are for suckers.
