Demens, I'm talking about the way these lines sway us to think a certain way. Books entice us to take good teams laying a few points against bad teams and then the next day, have huge underdogs, making us comfortable with taking the huge points. But only squares or joe public get tricked by books, but you're obviously above that, so you dont understand, because you're so smart about betting.

Talks a good game and makes some good points but it's the bitterness that confirms something is very wrong with him - either as a person or a gambler. My money is on the latter :P
Never made any secret about it. Want the details you can search Lyons closed thread. Short version is that this is my 4th month gambling, yes i lost early on being one of the sheep, yes i'm bitter about it, yes i learned my lesson and yes i do make good points, thanks.

In case you had more questions. Yes i play with points, yes i will play with money soon enough (Feb 18), no i will not make a thread, no i will not post plays.

FYI the past few days the public has been killing the books. I decided to stop betting against the public for awhile just because I've burned so bad here lately. Demens is right try not to overthink the lines. It's very easy to do.

Hey Jamal... Demens is one of the biggest losers on this site... he never pegs a game correct and always loses his shirt...

            i suggest fading him

You have a point in the 1st sentence, but i said, if you look at the games and understand the lines then you should not feel enticed at all thus you should not looked at it as tricks.

As for the differences from day to day, you are wrong. The lines are exactly the same day to day given the circumstances for the particular game. Clippers being +9 tonight has nothing to do with Blazers winning as +2 dog as night. It has to do with the Clippers being a weak team playing without 1st 2nd best player ON THE ROAD to one of the leagues best teams.

Its not because Vegas lost on the superbowl and fixed games on monday, its not because a great home team like the Blazers beat a .500 road team like the Bulls.

Let me ask you this Jamal, if Portland played Chicago in Chicago and the line opened as Chicago -7.5, would you think that line is fishy?

Thanks for the reply and your honesty. It does make your posts make more sense now. Hopefully you figure it out and start winning, then you will make your good points with a smile, rather than this bullshit attitude.

I didn't actually have any more questions.

See, Jamal. Am i really wrong to think that the this is stupid?

only at -300.. this line is so shady... spurs should be -550 or something dont u think?..detroit is getting alot of credit for this line... i wouldnt be surprise if spurs lose tonight
