Actually the more i think about it, the more i like Atlanta. The Hawks went cold in the fourth the other night but they were doing a good job of making things tough for Chicago. Rose was able to come up with some big plays but there were a lot of loose balls that went to Chicago and they ended up scoring on "busted plays."

Atlanta ML might be a good play tonight. In each of the past 3 years they have been in series that went the distance.

Making my play for Western Conference Finals Game 1 now. Dallas will win this series. The Thunder are a nice team and they are entertaining but they aren't ready to play for a championship. Durant gets taken out of games by good defense far too often and they don't play solid defense on a consistent basis (although I do think in coming years between Ibaka blocking shots, Perkins manning the low post, and solid ball pressure from guys like Westbrook and Maynor, the Thunder will improve). The time off shouldn't be a problem for the Mavs. If anything, it will be good for some of those old guys. Durant won't be able to get to the rim this series. I don't know if Dallas will roll the dice and play their matchup zone because it will give Durant and Harden better looks from the perimeter but that will be something to keep an eye on.

Without getting too in-depth, I think Dallas might just be a team of destiny. Everything is clicking and they have a nice mix right now. It's a shame they don't have Butler anymore because they'd be even better.
