why is that? are they gonna be w/o iggy and williams? or is lou back? if they are going to be without him, holiday will be the main ballhandler. his inefficiencies are what led them use iggy in a point forward role.

They will miss lou more than iguodala but either way they will be fine because they are a very deep team. The sixers have about ten guys they can play on a regular basis which is more than a lot of teams can say. Also, this game means nothing to Orlando. Philly will be looking to try and grab the 6 seed so that they can play boston which is a much better matchup for them than miami. Finally, collins recently emphasized how important it was that they prove they can take care of business at home. Philly won't be able to afford a loss at home in the playoffs if they want to make any noise so tonight is a great opportunity to build confidence on their home floor.Comment -

dude... iggy's basically been their starting pg for about a month and a half. he's consistently been at or around 10 assists a game. they have other small guards that can score besides williams, they don't have another iggy. this will force collins to give more minutes to people like speights and turner, who don't play a lot of minutes, and for a reason. they've been streaky at both ends of the court all year long, and especially at the defensive end.Originally posted by t-wizzle
and the quote from collins is meaningless coach talk. when exactly doesn't a team want to prove that they can take care of business? this quote could easily mean that he wants to see the young scrubs that he doesn't play much step up before the playoffs (which they easily could... turner and speights and the others do have their nights).

Tough loss on the kings last night. 76ers were a bad call, but kings had a 6 pt halftime lead and end up losing by 8. Was also a 4 point game with under a minute to play.
