Wow, I am not sure a better group of referees could have been picked out for this Heat/Magic team.

The head referee tonight is Bill Spooner. He is the #6 road ref (out of 65) in the NBA at 23-16 (59%) ATS for road teams. His home team W/L SU is almost close to even which is very rare at 21-18.

Derrick Collins is also reffing and he is the #2 road ref with a 23-12-3 (66%) ATS for the road team.

Scott wall also slightly favors road teams with a 17-16 ATS for road teams. It's really rare to have two of the top 10 refs in the NBA favoring the road teams in one game. The refs combined are 67-45-3 (60%) for road teams ATS.

ML for Pinnacle at 2AM last night was +109 Heat and is now down to +102 with no movement on the line. The juicing has changed though and Miami is now +1.5 -108 and Magic are -1.5 -102.

It's 1 and most recreational books, obama. My guess is it'll close at 1 at the sharp books and a Pick at Bodog, SIA, etc.

Like I said before, if LeBron's worth a shit, he'll go off tonight and the Heat will win (given the offseason comments and such).

Magic are 6-6 in last 12. This is a team that needs to work out the links and get healthy......which they will. On the other side, IMO Heat are about to go on a run after a rough stretch now that they're healthy. They may be undervalued for a few games. Lastly, a motivated LJ is a scary thing.....which is what we will see tonight.

Heat is the Play for tomorrow...SJ is the Man and has great writeups, but the main reason why they are the play is because Brandon Bass is OUT. He picks up his play while howard is out and struggling. and if you look at his games against big teams, he puts up 15 or more points and 10 or more Rebs. Reddick is hurt, thats the spark off the bench that Orlando has. Vegas has no control on who will win. They can't predict it, just like we can't predict it. But as we do research and notice that key players are out for Orlando, we will see Miami will come out and Lebron will drive to basket and draw fouls all night long.

Line down to +1 now, if it doesn't move to pick just before tip off which I think it will, I would have some reservations based on the fact that everyone is on the Heat but the game is many hours away and big line movements in the late morning hours are very rare.
Seems like such a great pick, only thing that has me scared is the fact that there is no logically reason to bet the Magic.
Whenever things are too obvious...
Still love the pick and am playing it big if it loses so be it, I will feel good that thought went into this pick.

There are some reasons to bet Orlando. They are at home is one. Howard is a beast and Heat don't really have a center. Magic already beat the Heat in Orlando by 9. Heat's play calling at the end of games has been suspect. Magic are 9-1 their last 10 home games with wins vs SA, Boston, NY.
