It means they set a line that was attractive to the betting public. It's obvious that everyone is fading Cleveland right now.

They were .5 points away from making an absolute killing. Doesn't mean they were "out to get" anyone -- just that they know what they're doing and most of the betting public just can't stay away from a game like this, which was a bad bet.

It was a bad bet. Period. Had Phoenix won by 15 or even 12, I'd definitely concede that I was wrong to warn people about this game.
