backdoor covers can also refer to teams playing to win and not to cover a spread; for example a 5 point football underdog team going for it on 4th down in hopes to tie the game instead of kicking a field goal to cover the number. that's kind of te opposite as the titans/colts, but sometimes underdogs can get you too, not just favorites. but the Suns are the favorite so this doesn't matter.
