dude I can't take all these losses that I get, it's so frustrating. I used to just fade teams that were getting like 80-85% of bets and I made bank in the beginning of the season. I lose all my units on favorites. any thoughts?

well, it looks like one rule should be do not bet on Memphis.. I think that's three times they've choked at the end this week for me now.

I'm assuming my Jazz play is a win since +15 in the 2H and only need the Jazz to win by 3.

This brings today's record to 5-3 (62.5%) +3 UNITS. Two of my losses were last minute choke jobs by Memphis so I will probably avoid them for a little bit and my other loss was way off in the Lakers over. Both of my push's were last second shots to tie which is unfortunate or I would have had an even better day.

My overall record is 42-25 (63%).

I think what you were seeing was an aberration. That is not a plan that I would follow.

There are a few cappers on SBR that are pretty solid. Follow them. I am assuming that you are not a strong capper. Avon seems pretty good. Goat Milk seems pretty good. Angry Black seems pretty good. (I was thinking about changing my screen name to "really teed off white dude"). Chitownsfinest seems pretty good. Joanapoker seems pretty good. I totally suck. So don't follow me. LOL

There are several others on here who are pretty good. Perhaps you could look for plays where we are all in agreement? Oh, and fade all of my picks you will be a millionaire.

There are several players who are burning up halftime plays and totals. You could look at those.

I think if you do your homework and follow the right people on here you could do pretty well.

Dallas has no Dirk and Butler will be playing with an injured hand.

San Antonio will be at full force and will want to take advantage of Nowitzki being out to gain another game in the standings.

San Antonio's weakness this season has been their defense as they are just middle of the pack, but without Nowitzki Dallas has no go to guy or efficient post player as everyone will be relying on jump shots. This also means for Dallas that guys like Brian Cardinal will have to see more minutes than they have been and that is a huge liability.

San Antonio is 7-3 ATS on the road, 4-1 ATS revenging a home loss, 7-1 ATS revenging any loss, 3-1 ATS after allowing less than 85 points, 10-3 ATS after a double digit victory, and 10-4 ATS against +.500 teams.

Since when the line is something like -2 or -2.5 that team usually wins by more than that, was can look and see that San Antonio is 9-2 in road games, 9-0 revenging a loss, 4-0 following a less than 85 defensive output, 11-2 after a double digit win and 11-3 against +.500 teams.

When I look at how good San Antonio has been ATS, SU and revenging losses, then we look at how big this game could mean for the standings and how San Antonio just destroyed LA while Dallas couldn't score 80 on Toronto without Dirk and I see this line as Dallas getting too much credit and San Antonio not enough.

I would take the over given the choice, but it's not a real strong lean for me and I don't really have a strong opinion on it.

I would just lean that way because 7 of last 10 between these 2 have gone over and 4 of last 5 in portland have gone over.
