You guys speak my language as I often have plays that I see mentioned in this thread.. I played St Peters +13, FIU +10.5, UMKC +21, Virginia +15, and USC +3. I'm regretting the USC game a little but I'm going to trust my numbers because I would kick myself to death if I didn't play it and it won.

My only problem with FIU is that they only have 2 players on the entire roster that aren't guards. That is stunning to me, and it means they rely on jump shots and creating turnovers, two things that aren't always there. I ended up going with FIU anyway, partly because Marshall is one of the worse ft shooting team in the history of basketball (I know it is early, but I think as a team they are under 56% this year). So I feel pretty good about FIU being able to be aggressive on D without fearing fouls, and odds are that Marshall won't be able to pile up too many garbage points in a late game fouling situation.

like it jive.... you got some healthy lines on st peters, and virginia....

yea in case of fiu vs. marshall, they get hot they could win the game, and like you said if you can't hit free throws. its always hard to slam the door on a team

Yeah, I hit those St Peter's and UVA lines the second I saw them (uva yesterday evening, St Peter's a little after midnight), figuring they would both drop like a rock. Of course they both actually went UP a half point afterward, which stunned me, but I've never been worth a crap at predicting line moves.

i think saint peters has a great chance.. last year they lost a close ball game and that was with hazell playing for seton hall.... there just a different team without them... im glad that the game will be on tv here for me atleast

thanks beantown... i usually put up espn gamecast. the problem is with smaller schools sometimes it ends up stopping midway through the game so your bet could be looking great then by the time you get a new score its down 20..

Congratulations! That was a great ML hit for you. I'm 2-2 assuming a USC loss. UMKC looks 60/40 at this point (down 9 with 5 minutes left) and I do have the Rockets in the NBA, so I'm probably looking at a 3-3 night. Blah.
