S.illinois is a pick em today?.. do you mean illinois state... they are +10 at home against UNLV... if you are talking about them watch outtt for that game.. I went to ISU and follow the missouri valley rather closely. Illinois state never shows up in spotlight games like this. The only thing they got going for them is that it is at home where they are 33-4 in the last 3 years and 5-0 this year. However they are 1-4 ATS this year and have gone under the total 4 times. They are not the offensive team they used to be when the had Osiris Eldridge and Champ Iguchi. UNLV is undefeated and has already put up a solid victory against Wisconsin and most recently beat Virginia Tech by 12. For me this is a no play. If anything I'm playing the Under but be careful. Its true.. we load our schedule every year with weak non conference games and always end up having a great record and will be nearly undefeated at home. Then come the end of the year when the MVC tourney comes along we cant even handle our own conference (Drake, Bradley, Northern Iowa)... even this year we are 1-4 ATS..we let teams hang around.. this is coming from a fan of ISU so just giving you my insight. Couple years ago we had by far our best team and made it to the MVC championship game to get us into the tourney.. we were playing drake who we beat at home that year and they beat us at their place. The game was put on CBS.. (Big Stage) we lost by about 30 points.. its a different squad this year but they have never shown me that they are capable of hanging around with a TOP 25 opponent... can we cover the 10 pts? yes.. but the odds makers are on the money with this one..Comment -
