Yes, they're a 6-1 team but LOOK AT THE COMPETITION! They're beating absolutely scrubs. The teams they've beaten have a combined record of 12-27! Then the first halfway decent team they play (Phoenix), they lose to at home. Add in the fact that Orlando is playing lights out in their new arena (winning by average margin of 28+), and I wouldn't be surprised at all so see Orlando blow the doors off Atlanta from the tip, regardless of Jameer/VC not playing.

Good to see new blood on the forum. One question i must ask. Who has Orlando beaten so far besides minny/nj/charlotte and washington?

Don't both Orl and Atl have relatively the same teams from last year? One can look to the past and see the Orl dominated Atl last year... let alone playing at home. IMO... Orl is an established good/great team against an up-and-coming good Atl team.
Of course, it's possible that Atl can stay within the number but I see an Orl team making a home stand statement in case they will see each other again in playoffs.

Atlanta Played 4 games in Orlando last year (2 reg season, 2 post season). I dont really think these teams are all too different from last year ---

        Last years scores:

        113-81
        104-86
        114-71
        112-98

an average win of 27 points ---

Im not advocating a play on the Hawks. Orlando is great at blowing teams out at home but the Hawks must have some thoughts about how bad they got there asses handed to them in last years playoffs and will put in a good game tonight to keep it within the number possibly.

Atl +9 is the play. Atlanta is playing better ball this year then they were last year and they were pretty good last year. Jameer will be out, Carter with limited playing time. Orlando's bench hasn't been all that productive so far to start the season. Add in the fact rashard lewis is not the same scorer he was last year. Orlando only beat twolves and wizards decisively at home this season. The nets were winning the half in orlando before orlando routed but orlando still didn't manage to cover. They also barely just beat the bobcats. Atl will make a game of this and I wouldn't be suprised if the upset orlando tonight.

I had to go with Orlando. I don't like Jameer being out, but the Hawks are missing Marvin and Mo. I think the Hawks are affected by the injuries more sine Orlando's bench is so deep.

I am liking the Hawks spread, and the Magic ML. Both teams have injuries, and even though the Magic have dominated the Hawks over the past years, I think the Hawks will keep it close.
