I guess do you know the stats of years prior for which games won? Because this year if you just bet the first game of the series you'd be up 20 units or so. And you wouldn't have to worry about the swings of chasing. So was just curious how other years went.

Glad I decided to jump in when Sac covers like 30 halves in a row.Guess I should have follow the rule of not betting it if over 5-got Phil 5.5 1H. Got 2H at -3.5 but of course was never close to covering.

How do I bet on it?

1/6 means it's the 1st bet of this series. You would bet Indy 1st half. If Indy covers 1st half, you're done betting this series. If Indy doesn't cover 1st half, you'd then bet on Indy in the 2nd half, doubling your bet.

Note:

Question of line for the 1h of Sac & Phi...

(see post #23 of this thread ...LINE VERIFICATION)

Most books had it at -5 but a couple books had it at -4.5. If you had it at -5 then the series was a 5 play loss because of the push.

This is the reason that I posted the line verification statement before the season started to prevent any misunderstandings.

sol: so then if -5 had been the lowest line of the day, then the 6H would've been a play.

at betus ya can't buy pts. on halves that i know of. Are all books that way? that seems like a feature that would come in handy when ya wanna meet the criteria of best closing lines from offshore books for a particular half play. If your book doesn't happen to have that lowest line at closing as some others may, there is no way to adjust. Is there? I'm sure the 5th half in that series was a rare circumstance anyways.

also, i realize it's optional, but didn't the 1h on the mil. play in that series qualify as a no play for the rest of series because a couple of books had their closing line at -5?

How do you count a win on the Bos/Ind 1H-I got Ind +.5-score was 46-45 Bos. Unless obviously it was +1.5 elsewhere. And anybody think of going against Sac. even though they are back home-how halves in a row can they cover?

not sure if this year is different than others, but would it make more sense using the first series and be done with it? looks like you would 74-49 without chasing and hanging around for 2nd halves or ongoing series.... and that isn't bad. if other years are similar this would be something to consider. 20+ units of profit for zero thought and 5 seconds a day to put bets in is worth it to me.

The way the system works is you're suppose to take the home team which was the Nets, although if you took houston by mistake instead it's good for you because you won. But we're on the home teams.

I have put a great deal of time in this thread. I set-up this thread at the very beginning with detailed explanation of the system and posted verification of
lines before the season started to prevent any accusations of false lines. I thought this was good enough to prevent bashers from
making attacks but I guess I was wrong. I gave it my best effort to stay with the plan but it was not good enough.

This season was one of its best starts but the finish was very tough. This was my 8th year with the system and each season was a success although some were just more profitable than others. I believe some changes are needed to improve the system if I plan to continue.

Thanks to those who contributed to this thread with positive comments during the season!
