The key word is optional.The previous 2 years the optional play and series has covered 96% of the time. We use the 1st game because over 75% of the covers are made by the first 2 halves. Review post #7 for more info.

Regardless of the optional play or not, it has success with all the series. All I am saying is when a below average road team improves at times the line fails to adjust.

COMMENTS: The first play has covered 14 of 21 series for 66% and the first game of the series has covered 18 of 21 for 85%. I like these numbers but there will be series that will make you sweat!!!

I plan to post the Dec schedule tomorrow. The Dec schedule has 25 series with the first series starting on 12/1 and the following series starts on 12/4.

Thanks for sharing this information. By my calcuations, in the past, you had 735 wins (for one unit) and 6 series losses (84 units per loss), which would equate to an approximately 59% success rate overall.

Only one of the losses was a 6 play loss, the others were a 5 play loss. Example, last season there was a push in the losing series making it a 5 play loss.
