Celtics does have great back up with Shaq. Shaq 1st game in the 1st quarter was dominating. Kind of want to see Lakers vs Celtics again and a Shaq vs Kobe to finally prove who the real champ.

Kobe - all around all star player highest player
Gasol - all star player low/mid
Artest - defend power house semi all star
Odom - semi all star

Celtics have
KG - all star mid
Ray Allen - all star mid 3pt best shooter
Shaq - all star mid unstoppable in paint
Paul - all star low

That's a very, very simplistic way of looking at that matchup. I'm inclined to believe that if the Heat manages to take out Boston and/or Orlando to get to the finals, they will also take out the Lakers. As last year finals proved, the Lakers and Boston are fairly even..

Last I checked the Celts were +2200 to win it this year - that's absolutely ******* insane....TONS of value. They nearly beat the Lakers in 7 last year!!! Once again, everyone will forget about the Celts this year.... same with Spurs (though I feel they are inferior to what they used to be)

Well according to Doc Rivers... they are still the champions. What a fvcking joke Rivers is. Lakers will get back to back to back championships. Their second unit is better then the previous years. Steve Blake fits in perfectly with the system and is putting up good quality minutes and numbers. Matt Barnes is bringing that Defense and toughness with a bigger version of him in Ron Ron next to him. I don't remember this Lakers ever being this tough.

Miami still won't beat the Lakers in the finals if it came down to it. The lakeshow just has too much height and will def. just slow it down against the heat. Heat just need more weapons. Sorry, but if you have Anthony as your starting center?? Cmmon, Bynum and Pau will just abuse the bigs
