It's pretty much a given that either the Celyics or Heat will end up in the finals for the east. I think alot of it depends on which team stays the healthiest.

lakers: 45%
magic: 7%
OKC: 7%
rest of nba: 6%

Seriously, Perkins will not be back this year, mark it down, JON will be on injured reserved list before the all star break, Big Baby and Shaq will duke it out and one of them will end up with a broken finger/hand, Daniels will get bumped into his grill and miss mega time with concussion, the Cs will beg Sheed to come back and between he, KG, Wheelchair Pierce will help Cs lead the league in techs. I wouldn't put it past them. In the East, the Bulls aren't ready quite yet and Orlando has Vince Carter, so they have no chance.

It's between the Heat and Celtics in the East. There is no doubt about that.

The celtics are going to come in 4th. They're old and injury prone. KG sucks now so their reign is over. Only were able to milk 2 titles out of the boston big 3

KG will be back fierce this year. No he won't be the "KG of 2008", but he won't be the "KG that just got from knee surgery" either. The Heat will also be a good team. Both are capable of beating the likely representative from the West (the Lakers). Frankly if there is an edge between those 3, it isn't much.

Miami Heat will be very good this year. Maybe even dominate. However, I don't expect this newly form team to beat Boston, in Boston on opening night. Maybe is Wade actually played during preseason I would have thought differently, but that is a lot to ask the Heat to do..

Sorry but Celtics will not go past Orlando this season.. The way they are playing I wouldn't be surprised if they beat the Heats.. Heats already with few injury issues atm

Not having Kendrick Perkins will make a big difference for the Celtics.

I hope they'll win. But that's just hoping. If all goes perfectly well, they have a legit shot. But I doubt it. Certainly wouldn't bet on it.
